I was raised to believe in God... but just this past year I've been questioning my beliefs. I feel like there is no God sometimes... looking back at everything I've been through in my life... why would he allow such things?? I don't understand and I'm very confused right now... part of me wants to believe, but I feel like I am wasting my time sometimes. I asked Him so many times to give me a sign... but nothing... Anyone feel this way?

I see it on here everyday, people complaining that all Muslims are silent. Why is it when the proof that Muslims are speaking out and have been speaking out since the day this tragedy happened, they say "we don't care". Then the very next minute, state none of us speak out. Should we just remain silent, since speaking out does no good anyway?

I'm told the holy spirit lives within people but I'm a little confused as to what that means. Is the holy spirit comprised of molecules? Does it exist in the form of energy like photons? I sometimes get the impression that it's really just a concept like when people are indefinately driven to be religious they use the term holy spirit. Other than it being a term for the driving force to be religious how does it really contribute to the trinity? Does it have a conscious?

In the beginning was the word. and the word was with god and the word was god. John 1:1
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.John 1:14
Ok so........................God=Word
Word=God
Word=Made flesh and dwelt amoung us
Made flesh and dwelt amoung us=jesus
jesus=word
word=god
jesus=god

To me this is just logical

Never wrote anything, how can we be sure that he said those things in the bible, how can we be sure that he agrees with them? If Jesus never wrote things down, why not (is it possible that he couldn't read or write)

Okay,. I know that evolution is "bad science", what other discoveries are offensive to God? Would mankind serve God best if we just stopped trying to learn?

At work, my department along with other departments are trying to have a halloween costume department challenge. Every department is going cutie, scary or funny. My department wants to go Controversial~! We have One guy in our department and four girls...this is a business and we cannot go slutty (though some departments are going that way) or do anything that is too revealing or provacative. Any suggestions?

The idea that a Jewish zombie, who is his own father, and was "magically" born to a virgin woman, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood by telepathically telling him that you accept him as your personal savior and master, so that he can remove an evil force within your soul because a rib-woman ate from a magical tree and caused humanity to become embedded with this evil force from birth.

Why would you even say that this is a good reason to even believe in Christianity, and that it's better than ever other religion because its right? Does this sound realistic to you?
