In the beginning was the word. and the word was with god and the word was god. John 1:1
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.John 1:14
Ok so........................God=Word
Word=God
Word=Made flesh and dwelt amoung us
Made flesh and dwelt amoung us=jesus
jesus=word
word=god
jesus=god
To me this is just logical

statocastor- jesus was not conceived. There was no sex involved. Therefore God would not have to have sex with mary to produce a child

it doesnt seem logical that someone who claims to be "christian" and doesnt believe CHRIST is Lord.... i mean, that is the whole concept of christianity.

Someone can follow Christ's teachings without believing he was God in the flesh--the Bible has hundreds of translations and not everyone believes that it has survived without being significantly changed by those who copied it.
If someone doesn't believe in the "inerrancy of scripture" (that EVERY word came straight from God's mouth onto the paper), then to argue for something with a Bible verse will probably not convince them.

Your fellow christians won't, so the premise of your question doesn't make any sense.
As an agnostic I disagree, not deny. Denial implies there is truth in the original assertion. It is the misuse of the word 'deny' which causes many christians to think that non-christians are just 'pretending' not to believe or 'going against what they know'.

Christians can't deny it, 1 John 4 makes it clear that denial is inspired by the the spirit of anti-christ which of course Christians can't follow.

Jesus IS Lord, whether a person believes it or NOT! Its simply FACT.
Whether He is Lord of their life is determined by alot of factors, however, do a google search on Lordship salvation...its a nasty bit of teaching that leads people into being "fruit inspectors" of others lives, and thereby determining whether a person is saved based on their PERFORMANCE> The Bible bases our salvation on believing in the PERFORMANCE of Christ ALONE for our salvation..totally apart from what we DO or dont DO.

Jesus clearly claimed to be God:
58 Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM."
59 So they picked up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid and went out of the temple area. John 8
See Exodus 3
13
"But," said Moses to God, "when I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' if they ask me, 'What is his name?' what am I to tell them?"
14 God replied, "I am who am." Then he added, "This is what you shall tell the Israelites: I AM sent me to you."
15 God spoke further to Moses, "Thus shall you say to the Israelites: The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. "This is my name forever; this is my title for all generations.

Sounds like you just wanted to preach a sermon.
All Christians believe that....or else they're not Christians.
