We've got some change here in the Mt's. in nw Va. And some leaf fall. I don't know if you had this down your way this year but I had an unusually large production of wild seeds and fruits this year. I'm trying not to think this is the harbinger of a stiff winter.

I live in the heart of NC and we are in bad need of rain. The leaves are falling off the tree from lack of water, so no pretty colors this year around here. Everything is brown , and the heat continues to soar.
Was in the mountains for the first time this year.. It was BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait to go back again.

I returned from Rhode Island last week and saw some of the trees turning different colors, yellow, red it was really beautiful, as I live in South Florida where we get little of that.

Not yet, but I am expecting them in about two weeks. North Carolina must be beautiful. As soon as the hummingbirds leave, I will know for sure.
