at this rate why even take the christmas tree and decorations down at all. as a kid i remember when christmas was a really big deal and never ever ever started until after Thanksgiving day. as you say go figure

Haven't been to Sam's lately, but I can't believe it! It is like Christmas is being more commercialized each year. I love Christmas, my favorite holiday, but at the right time.

Its ridicules.. They have Halloween, Thanksgiving , Christmas all up in the stores and there end of summer sales...Talk about rushing the seasons..

I saw Christmas decorations for sale in August at WalMart, I though it was premature, but who knows pretty soon they will start in June
