Even tough someone is saved and has become a son of God. He/she will continue sinning. Now somebody may say he is saved, but as John mentions in his letters, the one that PRACTICES sin, has not really converted. By "practice" it means that is constantly performing the same sin. If you are really saved, you may do a sin once and feel bad about and ask for forgiveness, but if you are not saved you will continue doing it.

Being saved does not mean you are without fault, being saved means you accept Jesus as your personal savior and you will try to live your life christ-like. At no time are we taught anything other than the flesh is weak and we all sin. In fact God saw how weak we were and sent his son as a sacrifice for us.

Hey I once met a guy that claimed he was Napoleon, even wore the funky hat, do you think he was Napoleon? In other words a person can claim to be anything they want to, but that does not make it so I would strongly suggest to that person that they are deceiving themselves. The Bible tells us what a Christian is and is not. Adultry is not a Christian trait.

They cheat themselves first, then their spouse. They have no idea but believe everything is just fine.

Why does ANYONE claim they're saved and then sin? Because being saved doesn't make us sinless and as perfect as nonbelievers think we should be. When we become Christians, we don't become Christ Himself!

Because they're fooling themselves, more than likely. BUt only God really knows. Even if they are saved, they'll probably barely make it into heaven, and our goal should be more than that.

The spirit is willing but the body is weak. These people really need to do some soul searching to break the sin habit.

Because people have free will. Being part of a religion doesn't turn you into a superhero. You still are stuck with the same sort of choices to make.

Perhaps they had an extreme moment of weakness after being tempted by the Enemy (Satan). I'm not saying that person's actions are justified, but I HAVE heard of believers who've committed adultery.
