I have listened to all types of music with one exception. I do not understand rap.
I remember learning to play a guitar (not very well) and country songs were the easiest to play. I later began to enjoy classical music because that is the kind my piano teacher taught me. I love oldies, and 70s, 80s rock.
I really liked Peter, Paul, and Mary folk songs as well as Bob Dylan. I guess I am an old hippie except for the drug experimentation.
What a great world we live in to be able to experience all types of music. That is why I consider it a universal language.

All Country,Oldies, some Pop, and Classical. I love just about anything but hard rock, and rap. It really depends on the mood I am in. I even listen to gospel, or modern gospel sometimes.

I listen to all kinds [except rap]. It depends on what I'm doing. Cleaning the house or working wood [crafts] it's classic rock, cranked up fairly loud. Painting/drawing, jazz, folk, country, international. Working on the computer/writing, classical.
