Is it more infuriating when their point seems ridiculous or uniformed? Does it seem that we deal with children (or immature adults) sometimes in R&S?

Some will say because of free will, but what is to prevent after the resurrection that people will not rebel again because of free will afterall did God not wipe out mankind with the flood after he deem it wicked are we stuck in a loop because of free will, won't this cycle just keep repeating itself unless God eliminate free will. Are my hypothsis off base?

I am an Atheist who was raised to be Christian (Seventh Day Adventist) and I always wondered this. I never got a good enough answer and I often got "God doesnt want you to think about those things. It can make you go crazy". I would like to know what you think about this. Thanks! :)

Someone who believes in an invisible God.
OR
Someone who believes that a man will report scientific findings without bias, without pushing his beliefs, without having an agenda, and without trying to get more money for research.

I dont see how anyone could argue that the Bible was written (or compiled) with an agenda in mind when it was written by many different people over many years. The writers could not have known that their reports, letters, or revelations would be put into the book we now call the Bible.

But if you do, then please explain it to me.

An anonymous poster by the handle "achtung_heiss" attempts to answer every question at Yahoo Answers concerning the secret affliation of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (corporation in NYC) with a reference to the mentioned website as well as Watchtower's official website, (which is like asking Adolf Hitler if Adolf Hitler is good). A carefull review if the website revealed only blank forms and straw man arguments containing no substance.

Hi, ive been clean for only two days now. Today will be the third. Ive been smoking everyday, none stop for about 5yrs now. Thats just non stop. In all i've been smoking for 12yrs. Im really trying to clean my life up and get my act together. Marijuana hasn't stopped me from doing normal things like having a good job and school. Anyway, Its really hard for me right now that im going through withdrawal. I can tell im more depressed and irritable i also don't eat as much "go figure". I dont want to go out or do anything. Its ironic because thats what people say weed does to you when you intake. Im really not asking a question rather trying to get some words of encouragement or wisdom even some advice on some things that i can do from those who UNDERSTAND and ignored will be the ones who just want to criticize just to get some points so feel free to do whatever but im only in attention to those who understand so...type on.

Why is it that the Japanese have more respect for their royal family than the british. Even the youth of Japan who aren't into royalty still acknowledge their royal family and have respect for them. This is a totally different story in the UK where many people say awful stuff about the royal family and many are against the royal family. Why is this? Is it because of prince charles remarrying? or do people feel the royal family was against diana? and why are the Japanese so interested in their royal family?

I have noticed a lot of the athiests on here are very prideful, so where does this pride come from? I think being athiest is just a cover up for being too proud to bow down before God. In the back of your mind, tell me if you think there is a higher power, but you just don't want to know, or if you honestly think there is no God. I am just curious, I want to hear everyone's opinion, and no rood or hateful remarks-I will report u..sorry!

Please use detail. No generalities like 'unbelief'. You can not assert that unbelief is sinful because it requires no overt or covert action, and it requires no ill-thought whatsoever.

This is a serious question. If I were to get in like a car wreck or something and got amnesia and didn't remember anything about my life...would I still be an atheist, would I feel like theres no god? Or would I be indifferent towards the idea of a god? Is there a possibily that I could become religious again, or would I most likely become an atheist again?

I'm just curious how that would work...

It seems like there is an exponentially growing number of Atheists in the general population now a days. Does it just seem like that or are there really more? In history I don't feel like we hear about Atheists or non-religious like in the 50's for instance. (although the topic might not have been relevant to write about)

Thanks for the answers guys!
