Dear

You write back to Yahoo Answers Team with your genuine concerns and probably they will restore it.

They removed one of my answers on the grounds of violations. I wrote back to them and they restored it back and fortunately my Answer after restoration was selected as the Best answer.

Take Care

I came here over a year ago under another account, and asked questions of a spiritual, introspective nature rather than a religious one. Questions such as "What wisdom did you learn from your grandparents?" "What things do you hold sacred?" "Of all the people you have known, who do you miss the most?"

These, and over 100 others like them, have been deleted repeatedly. I don't let that stop me, I just ask them again.

I've lost accounts over this, and the reason I don't ask much anymore, and have my profile set to private, is because I've almost made level 7. I know, there's no recognition for it, but it's been a year...

Anyway, back in the day when Yahoo! actually gave a reason for a deletion, they said I was being chatty and I suppose that I was. They also said that my questions were in the wrong forum, and I'd say that's because I rarely ask about God, Allah, or religion in general.

Still, my questions tend to make a person pause and reflect, or at least I hope they do, and I think that's a good thing. It brings you in touch with yourself, which I find spiritual. Apparently, not everyone thinks this way.

How the really nasty questions stay in the archives is beyond me. I used to think there were roving bands of trolls reporting people, but I don't know that I agree with this anymore. Some people just don't like others for whatever reason, and their questions get deleted arbitrarily. Our beliefs probably have a lot to do with this.

I love your questions by the way, and I spend a great deal of my time hunting for them. While I don't always answer, I enjoy reading what others have to say. If you are getting deleted, I hope you won't let that stop you from asking because some of us are glad you are here.

I dunno! My brother Carl Caneyhead had some real good ones that got deleted, and then theys suspenderd his account.
Theys questions a lot more graphic than his was and theys still on site!
I guess some folks on here is just a little too sensative to some topics, maybe they ought to stay off here and tune in the TV to Oprah or Dr. Phil!

It's not about following the guidelines, it's about who you tick off.
