true story. one day i found a twenty dollar bill stuck to the underside of a paper towel dispenser in a bathroom at a resturant. on the bill it said "do NOT turn this into the manager. use it yourself, but then remember to pay it forward as soon as you get it a chance." then it said (heart) JB. i thought it was differant and a unique way of paying it forward so i went out and bought a cd i had wanted but didnt have the money i for....a few months later an opportunity presented itself for me to pay it forward, i took $20 and donated it to a charity for cancer research, and i put the initals JB on the little thing they give you to sign.

thats the most recent time i have ever payed it forward. so have you payed it forward recently? if so, what did you do, and what inspired you to do it in the first place?

i do believe in one god but i also believe in many other things that have god-like power. An example of occult would be stuff like wicca and the beings in the necronomicon. if you do give relevant info. thanks and please dont try to turn me to your religion.

Elder Boyd K Packer said that he felt the feminist movement, the gay/lesbian movement, and the intellectual movement were a threat to the church. Do you agree with him? Why or why not.

One of the doctrines of the Mormon church states that Mormon men, after they die, will inhabit their own planet and, along with their many wives, will produce numerous spiritual children. When this spiritual family becomes large enough, the father will be given the power to create another world (or earth) for those children, both male and female, and they will be sent to that earth in order to learn the difference between good and evil, learn and follow the teachings of the Mormon religion, and also produce children with "temporal" (or earthly) bodies in which the spiritual children from the father's previous world will enter (in the case of this earth, the number of spiritual children already exceeds many billions). These earthly children (males) must then follow the doctrines of the Mormon church so they also will become gods over their own planets when they die. It is through this progression that the Mormons teach how Adam was born on another planet and then came to this earth.

I think theists, in particular Christians, can do quite a lot. All they have to do is stop meddling in politics, stop hindering scientific research, stop teaching children anti-knowledge (creation nonsense), stop assuming their morals are better than someone else’s…well, it’s a long list but it all comes down to Christians giving up some of their influence.

But atheists don’t have much influence, political or otherwise, so there’s virtually none to give up. And all atheists want is for children to be taught the truth, truth that is proven with evidence. Maybe some atheists could be a little less arrogant, but that’s all I can think of.

what I need is a bible that is not contradicting, sorry, my spelling sucks. I have seen spirits and weird things since I was a very little girl, I have had dreams come true all my life. yet, the Bible says that I will go to hell for a gift that God chose to give me? does that make sence? no it doesnt. My daughter and my son have this Gift. Yes I believe bthat rapist, murderers and child beaters should have a place called Hell, but people who have lived a great life, doing for others and all in all very good people, would go to a place with them, is just wrong. I have tried to believe it, come to terms with it, and I cant, its just plain wrong. If I am taking chances with my soul then so be it, its the way I feel, and if God is cruel enough to send me to hell for loving and caring about people, then I guess I am going to Hell, if there is one. who else feels this way?

Im looking for more than just "Oh I only report haters" or "I only report people who make inane remarks". Be specific, define what a hater is to you an give an example. Dont worry, I am huge on free speech so I wont report you for any language used in any example.

Also, would you like to see your vision of speech made universal, or is it not a wise enough policy to be applied outside your world?

Yesterday I asked the forum if they thought that their religious leader was infallible.
Everyone who answered said the same thing. THAT THEIR RELIGIOUS LEADER WAS HUMAN AND FALLIBLE

Here's the Questions:
1. Then why do you demand infallibility from Joseph Smith and the Current Mormon Church Leaders?

2. How do you know that the stories your religious leaders and Anti- Mormon websites have told you about Mormons are not blatant, ignorant, lies?

I think the country needs to make an effort and send their contestants. I heard that the cost for sponsoring the girl is too much, so the countries that cant afford it don't participate. But it would be nice to have Armenia represented... my personal favorite: http://www.armenians.hu/html/armenia/2006_1/082.jpg

Faith gives many people the strength to get through hard times, but I also gives many people incentive to commit horrible acts (eg. witch burnings, the Holocaust, the 9/11 attacks, etc.).

So how do we know if we have "good" faith instead of "bad" faith? Do we have to have faith in faith?

Isn't it better to serve a God that gave his life for you, instead of a god that demands you give your life for him?

Why would anybody want to serve a god that has to promise virgins to get you to do something for him?

Why would women follow a god that uses them for bait to get men to do what he wants?

Why would women follow a god that promises them nothing aas far as I can tell except slavery as a virgin?
