When faith over rides intelligence you have a problem. Stupidity over smarts shows itself in living color. Not a problem to differentiate really.

The holocaust, witch burnings and 9/11 had nothing to do with faith and everything to do with hate.
Lucky, the way to know if your faith is good is if it enables you to quit smoking (and other stuff). Worked for me!

If your faith is based on the works of the flesh, it will bear the fruit of the flesh. If your faith is based on the Spirit of God, then you will bear the fruit of the spirit.
Galatians 5:19-23
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Faith is not what you believe. Faith is acting on what you believe. People have re-defined faith as equivalent with religion or belief. Belief is not faith. Belief is only in your head and heart. Faith is, if you'll indulge me, in your shoes.
This is why James says, "Faith without works is dead". In everyday terms, I believe my car will start. But, my faith is what turns the key. I can believe it will start all I want to. But, unless I actually turn the key, my belief is useless.
Whatever the evildoers believed (Hitler, bin Laden, Stalin, etc.), they were/are simply evildoers. Their belief system is askew, at best. None of them has anything to do with God, at all. They can claim they are doing God's will, but they are or were far from it.

Faith isn't worth much, unless you have faith in the Truth.
Jesus Christ is the Way, the TRUTH and the Life.

I think people who do bad things in the name of faith are mentally ill. They're insane.
My faith is good because I don't want to destroy people, but I want to lift them and myself up, I want to be a better person, and to be a better example.

All religious faith is bad. It is better just to admit that you do not know, rather than forcing yourself to believe something or pretending to know something that you don't. Faith should be a sin because it is dishonesty in action.

"Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." (Heb. 11:1).
It is our responsibility to examine what we believe. The Bible is a product of God's spirit, being inspired by God. Failure to study it hinders any development of true faith.
I know my faith is the best thing, the true thing, the only thing for me. my faith teaches me that only good works come form God, therefore we do not take part in wars. We follow the example of Jesus, having love for our neighbor and not sharing in politics. We apply Bible counsel., and do not take part in any thing pagan. We do not murder, kill, steal, or have hate of others because of their skin color or national origin.

The term good is relative. It refers to what we agree with. There is no such thing as good or bad faith in respect to whether it is moral or not. It is either faith or not.
