I am an Evangelical Christian who studies the Bible. One of the interesting prophetic characters in the Bible is the Whore of Babylon. Who do you think she is? What do you think she is?

Anyone who would ignore the mountains of evidence and peer-reviewed research done by thousands of Scientists the world over, is either totally brain washed, or has been thoroughly brainwashed.
These are people that ignore science and instead cling to myths and fairy tales. How pathetic is that?

OK. I'm 13 and me and some friends were talking about dressing up for Halloween this year, but I don't really know what to be. i heard everything is made of tiny atoms (like tiny circles) but they somehow make a object.. like a printer, computer, human etc... so could you pull the circles apart and turn it into something else like turn a human into a printer?

Many atheists explain that atheism is not a religion but more of a philosophical framework, therefore it seems to make sense that they would enjoy conversations in the Arts & Humanities > Philosophy category. Yet so many prefer to chat in Religion & Spirituality. Is it because atheists consider themselves to be "spiritual" in some sense. If this is true, please explain how this is possible.
