I tried to give blood and they suggested I get blood! LOL...I tend to be anemic and cannot give.
I have already been a living donor (kidney) for my daughter. I am also signed up to be a cadaver donor as well.
Great question and dear to my heart!

Yes. I just recently became an organ donor, for some reason I was a little scared. But when I went to renew my License I said sign me up and it feels great knowing that I may help save someones life.
As far as a blood donor, I have health issues that prevent me from donating.

I used to give blood every year, but as I take medication now I can't anymore. I haven't registered as an organ donor so far.

No, I had a transfusion during that scarry time. I believe I would have to be double screened to give blood or maybe not allowed to at all. Yes, I'm an organ donor.

I am an organ donor, but my veins are too small to give blood. Heck, they can't get blood for routine blood work! I give 'em 4 shots, at it after that, it is all MINE to keep! I think blood donors are wonderful people!

I don't donate blood. I bleed easy. I am not a free bleeder but I was as a child. It has slowed down some. I gave blood once while I was working at a hospital. My arm was black from half way to my wrist and half way to my shoulder. I have AB+ blood and I thought it would be a good thing. After my husband saw my arm he said never again. I will if my type is needed.

blood donor? no, health issues prevent it.
organ donor? you bet! imagine your death could save how many other people?
they can use so much of your body now that to let it rot in a grave, or to cremate it, is a sin.
and by donating your organs you are setting an example for your children, grandchildren, siblings, everyone you know!
i try to encourage everyone to donate their organs, its an honorable thing to do!

I am an organ donor. I have never given blood because I tend to be hyperglycemic and they never wanted mine.

Yes and Yes.
I have instructed my family and friends to donate every useful organ of my body when I die, in case I do not have my donor cards with me at that moment.
