As I take a giant leap and pretend that Jesus existed and is still existing, I find that I love him very much, because we drink much wine together and the women really dig us.

There is this guy I have been seeing for sometime, I reallyl ike him. He is really just a great guy. I have always wondered if he's straight or gay. He does often look at me, and stare. I sometimes catch him staring at me and then he quickly looks away when I notice him doing it. He always says hi to me as well. But, he's pretty masculine and does not give off a "vibe" at all. Some guys you can just tell and it makes life so much easier. But, him it's harder to tell. I'm almost postive he knows I;m gay, because I blush when I talk to him. it seems that when I feel he's straight and don't bother talking to him much, he backs off, but, when, I feel he might be gay or bi, i talk to him more because I feel I have a chance. He's confusing! I am going to start talking to him more, to see of course, but is he dropping hints to me?

Okay, My husband and I worked with a youth group at a local church. I got really closed to the pastors oldest daughter. She was going through a rough time and I really felt that God had brought me there to be an influence to her and encourage better behavior. After being there 2 years we felt led to leave the church.

This girl will be 18 in a few weeks. Her parents are really hard on her. She has rededicated her life to the Lord and has really matured through the years. She is a senior and is working a part time job. Her dad refers to her as a pain in his flesh. her parents are always telling her to get a second job to pay for her school supplies and school clothes. She pays her Car payment, Car Taxes, Insurance, gas and cell phone bill. They do not make her younger sister pay for her own cell phone.

She feels really close to me and my family. I have 4 children ages 7 ,4 and 2 year old twins. Should I let her move in with us? What is your opinion?

If you only opened your heart to the wisdom of Dharma and the infinite compassion of Sangha, you could save your souls from the torments of samsara. May the Ten-fold Path have mercy on you and your children.

He rejected the "God" of the Old Testament, right? He said that Old Testament God does not exist! He then tried to introduce a new "God" concept that was so forcefully rejected it cost him his life.

They are ususally good looking, self absorbed...they get by on those things and take no responsibility for themselves. They don't need God or spirituality because THEY are God! Do any of you get frustrated by these people?

I received a message in my inbox today from another user on Yahoo Answers. I've never received hate mail or mail from users telling me I needed to be "saved" or anything so I was surprised when it read:

Subject: you are a courageous woman

Message: I was looking over profiles for people that answered the question about richard dawkins
and you had a 360 so I took a look.

hense the statement, you have courage

I wish you well

I just had to share, because the message really made me giggle. Although this is not intended to poke fun, it's the first message of this nature that I have ever received.

My math teacher today was handing out interims and she said that it was a hard first five weeks. Then she said that one parent had come in early one morning to ask if "their darling little child" could be moved to advanced math. she said that she said "well she wasn't recommended".

I knew that she was talking about me and I am slightly disgusted with her choice of words. Darling little child? Really! and she said that in a sort of annoying tone, and that just made me feel a little angry and I KNOW that I was recommended for advanced math for this year, and i especially hate it how she said it in front of the entire class.

do you think that she was rude or i am just sensitive?

Why is it that everytime i attempt to display my beliefs in either class or anywhere else in general, i always get some crap about "Jesus is the only way, you MUST go to him, believe in him"? What if i dont want to. In school, if we are having a religious DEBATE, why do we get ridiculed for being different? Why are we hated so much? Do christians hate us so much that they feel like they MUST make us believe in their religion? I have no religion, and i desire none. I do not want any scripture in your replies, so please save yourself some time, it means nothing to me. O, and did anyone see who wrote the bible? they were "inspired" by god. did anyone see them inspired? i can point out so many flaws... so any input in this thought process will be used approperately. I do not discriminate, so feel free to take whatever side you want :D
thanks. \m/ ^_^ \m/

I may not believe in the sprinkling of water on a babies head, and you may not believe in tithing, whilst Jane believes God isn't a trinity and Joe likes to wear just shorts and thongs to Church.
You've got to agree, we have some differing beliefs.

In the lessons taught by Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament, we have priceless instruction on how to live Godly lives.
What are your thoughts - one or two things you feel are essential for us to be in sync, on the same track as each other to serve Our Almighty God and Creator in Loving unison?

Do you wonder why Catholics (and Eastern Orthodox Christians) confess their sins to a priest? God had sent Jesus to forgive sins, but after his resurrection Jesus told the apostles, "‘As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained’" (John 20:21–23). This is the establishment of the Sacrament of Penance (Confession). Christ told the apostles: "As the Father has sent me, even so I send you" (John 20:21). Just as the apostles were to carry Christ’s message to the whole world, so they were to carry his forgiveness: "Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" (Matt. 18:18).

I just saw a woman ask a similar question and she got LOTS of answers, REALLY fast!

NOTE: I don't think you are "closet theists" LOL. I respect your beliefs, but I have asked (respectful) questions where atheists have taken a very disrespectful stance, against me, in reply.

I was wondering how many atheists think its okay to mock things that they do not understand?

I had a conversation with one atheist who immediately started insulting me as soon as I started trying to describe things of which he had no experience (but of which I have experienced a lot).

I respect atheist beliefs. I understand that to some people, there being a God makes no sense to them.

But do you, as an atheist, consider pride/arrogance (ie saying insulting things) to be a weakness?

P.S. Buddhists are atheists, yet they believe in being humble.

Praying you will accept Jesus before its too late. Jesus is the only true living God! For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believeth in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the , condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John 2:23 chapter 3 16-21 Jesus loves you all!

Were Adam & Eve & Lucifer perfect creations?

I'm not going to use the term "holy" cause people fight over what/who is actually "holy"... but as far being created perfect, would you not then live your life making perfect decisions? I'm having a hard time understanding this concept.

It also makes me think - just because we get into heaven doesn't mean we'll be there eternally. You have the choice to sin... and that option is available for all of eternity... seems like after however many billion trillion years that nobody would be left in heaven, cause all would 'slip' eventually!

Recently, I could to know others countries like France, Italy and Spain. This tour through those places was very important to me because changed my impression and feeling about my country Brazil.
Now, I’m sure: Here is the best place to live. Brazil is the biggest mainland South America country. Else, I think that it is bigger than whole Europe (except Russia)
Our economics, compared with the rest of world is among the ten more developed countries. Our politics system is perfect but the politicians are very bad. Unfornately, someone work for theyself to work for our country instead.
The Brazilian people are very nice. They are formed to a lot of different races. Principaly the girls are beautiful
The change that have happened here and a think important is about Brazilian justice. Sometime ago I’ve seem on TV news the judicial proceedings to judgement of forty corrupts politicians. For me, this look like a enormous end very good change!!
