Right on, brother. It's because they probably can't go to church or a Bible study group right now and need answers from SOMEONE ELSE. They can't get answers on their own. Can you be a Christian without reading the Bible? No, because you need all of that propaganda.

There is a large volume of info there. Perhaps someone else' knowledge (expressed via Y) can direct the asker to a specific text answer faster than looking for ones self currently.

Because it's a public forum, and we have as much right to be here as anyone else. I'm a Christian, and have never claimed to have all the answers. I enjoy learning from others, and definitely appreciate different perspectives. Some of my favorite posters here are people who don't share my religious beliefs.

Well, of course, the main answer is:
I am here to share the truth of the Bible with you!
(which is why I answer more questions than I ask)
...and, of course...others have insight into the Bible and help me learn more about God and the Bible, as well...!
...not to mention, the "fun" factor...

Furthermore, since Christianity isnt a religion, it is a relationship with God, they have no business here, right? Just like they claim we dont?

I'm here hoping to help people who are truly wanting answers to heart felt questions. Why do atheists, pagans, secular humanists come into R&S?Are they prosteltizing their religion as we are,or are they only here to scrutinize and mock?I'm here to try to get people to consider the promises of God.If one has enough faith to believe he's not real, then they also have the ability to believe he is real.

The Bible encourages believers to gain knowledge, and some people like open forums and dialog.
