Gender is no excuse. Stealing is always wrong. At the least, I would choose to no longer be their friend. I would also try to let the victim(s) know. And in the worst case, I would inform the police.

Not a difficult question really, if you have a sense of right and wrong.

why should the gender of the thief carry any wieght in the decision?

I would most likely turn them in. If the thief was a very good friend I would say "It ends now or our friendship does."

Is theft by a woman meant to go unpunished?
A crime is a police matter. Is the victim aware they are being stolen from? You should tell them.

Theft of a penny is as wrong as theft of £1,000,000

Giving the stolen money/goods away is no defence. If I want to give my money to charity I will, and I don't need someone to make that decision for me!

I would talk to the person to see why he or she is stealing.. it would not make a differnce if it was man or woman.. if they were stealing to provide for their family i would then try to get them help as in finicial aid ect. If the person was stealing for drugs, i would try to talk them into rehad.. if the person was stealing simply becausethey could gt away with it .. hum.. i would of course try to tell them i t is wrong.. if nothing else works then i would call the athorities then maybe they could get the proper help they need.. deb

it doesn't matter if they steal they should be reported no mater if they are a woman or were you being a pervert and if you take the money knowingly you are as bad as the thief.
their is no such thing as a victimless crime it all just filters down to others to pay for the theft such as wage not being raised products not being as low as they could be (insurance food anything that involves money exchange)

I would report them to the police, stealing is a crime, as is handing stolen goods. It makes no difference if the person is a man or a women.

I would leave an anonymous note for the poor victim.

Then I would cut a willow switch and thrash the woman until she left the state. It takes a village. No village wants a scoundrel.

Depends who they are stealing it from? If it is myself then i'd confront them and get the money back, if it's a business, i'd report it... either way firm evidence needs to be collected before any action is taken.

Pray for them. Pray for the wisdom of how to approach them. It make no difference if they are a man or a woman. i would tell them that I know what they are doing and I know it's wrong as well as they do. I would then tell them scriptually why they need to stop and the repercussions of their cotinuing their behavior.

Depending on who they were stealing from, I would go to the authorities or the victim.

Stealing is wrong no matter who does it or for what reason. I'd tell them to stop or I would talk to the authorities.

God Bless.
