I assume you refer to the bible. Sadly, the Gospel of St Hoppy was removed from the bible at the Council of Nicaea. But copies survived the callous purge. This gospel mentions bunnies 1,956 times and easter bunnies 342 times. It also tells us that Jesus warned his followers to reject chocolit as the work of the devil and instead to stick to milk chocolate.

Funny how Christianity seems to swallow up all of the Pagan holidays. The yule tree and the Easter bunny all are part of Pagan traditions. Christians; when they cannot demonize it (the horned god became the visual image of Satan and NO they are not one in the same), or stamp it out of existance will embrace it (yule tree became Christmas tree, the Goddess Brigit became St. Brigit).
I think it is HIGHLY hypocritical for Christian families to have their children open up Easter baskets and then go to Church and learn the history of Jesus' rise from the dead but not learn the origins of the true story behind the Pagan traditions that they also follow

I don't think the Oompah Loompahs had brought chocolate to the civilised world when Jesus was alive. The Easter Bunny wasn't mentioned in the Bible. At least not in my Bible. I can't tell you about yours. Yours is spelled differently.

The bible does not have Easter bunnies in it. If you would like to learn about Easter. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Those are the books that Jesus is in. Easter is really about the Resurrection.

I do not believe they were mentioned in the Bible, and I do not ever remember Jesus having a chocolate bunny either

I'm sure whenever animals are mentioned, the prophets were talking about the Easter Bunny, too.

The Easter Bunny is mentioned a total of 3 times....and Santa Claus only twice.
Now, if you read the BIBLE, to prove me wrong...I'll be impressed.
P.S. I hear Jesus loved to bite the chocolate ears off first, that's why so many of us do it, too.

Never! Easter bunnies have got nothing to do with Easter or Bible.
