what I need is a bible that is not contradicting, sorry, my spelling sucks. I have seen spirits and weird things since I was a very little girl, I have had dreams come true all my life. yet, the Bible says that I will go to hell for a gift that God chose to give me? does that make sence? no it doesnt. My daughter and my son have this Gift. Yes I believe bthat rapist, murderers and child beaters should have a place called Hell, but people who have lived a great life, doing for others and all in all very good people, would go to a place with them, is just wrong. I have tried to believe it, come to terms with it, and I cant, its just plain wrong. If I am taking chances with my soul then so be it, its the way I feel, and if God is cruel enough to send me to hell for loving and caring about people, then I guess I am going to Hell, if there is one. who else feels this way?

The bible does not say that your going to hell, it may say stuff about witchcraft. Me and my mom, we sorta have the same thing. We dream alot, and the events in our dream happen later. Or like expiriencing deja-vu, we knew something was gonna happen because we had a 6th sense of it happening before. No, its a gift from god, the bible was interpreted by men from god. So some things may have be construed dont worry. Now about the spirits, well i dont really belive in stuff like that. I mean i believe in people seeing angels when certain times its a necessity, but dont worry. If you follow the teachings of our lord and savior, and do what you should you will lead the path to richeosn.

There is one path to heaven, and that is through the holy spirit. You must accept it. And believe what you should, the holy spirit is the only path to heaven. It is directly in the bible.

the weapons of our warfare as Christians are not carnal but the bringing down of strongholds through Jesus Christ my Lord.

Does God give all gifts?
Spirits and weird things come from inside you planted by Satan and you have agreed with it. The mind and the heart can be deceitful. If you knew the word of God you would not consider yourself so good. It is God that is good. Do you know what humble is? Luke 18. Satan can be loving and caring in appearance to another. It is the end that counts.

Cindy -
Here is the bottom line:
We all sin
Sin is what separates us from God and eternal life in heaven
The way to be reconciled to God is through repenting of sin, believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and
following Him

I would suggest reading and studying the Bible, it is true and trustworthy and has the answers you are looking for. Think about this: All Bible prophecy that has been fulfilled to date has been 100% accurate. You can't argue with that, God's Word is true. Place your faith in what it says.

About your gift. I have a gift of discernment, which is what you may have. Read 1 Corinthians ch.12. The Bible speaks of many spiritual gifts. You will not go to hell for having a gift unless you use it for ill profit.
As for good people going to hell, well thats why god made a way for everyone to have salvation. If they reject it then what can you do for them. The bible says .... my people parish for lack of knowledge. : D

If those are your experiences, and your understanding of the Bible puts the very experiences that you cannot control in the wrong light, then your faith is clearly not based on the Bible. You don't need a book that tells you things that you think are wrong; such a book would be a waste of your time. I'd say that you don't need anything at all.

Not trying to force anything on you but since you seem confused, take a look at humanism. Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.

Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

God's not going to send you to hell for having dreams that come true. Please don't think that God is going to punish you for loving and caring for people when the second greatest commandment he gave was "Love you r Neighbor as yourself." God Loves you sweetie and wants the best for you. But the only way to heaven is Jesus. We can't be good in our own eyes because we didn't created "good." He's the judge of us. Not we ourselves.
Just seek Him for yourself, and not what you hear about HIm
or guess from what you heard.

I am deeply sympathetic to your situation. Save from going into a long drawn-out essay, I'll just refer you to my answer to your last question.

Sometimes we choose to believe differently from what we actually do believe. When we can believe our beliefs without confusion, we have truly found ourselves. When that happens, we are in constant change, because our beliefs are in constant change.

In other words, you need to find out what your beliefs are telling you. Find your very own spiritual path, because nobody else's will ever be a perfect fit for you. you believe in God and Christ. It's safe to say you are a Theist. In a Christian sense, my view is that to follow Christ is the way to Heaven (if you believe in Heaven).

Also in my view, Christ's teachings, coupled with the 10 commandments, are the only part of the Bible you need.

However, I accept that your view may differ from mine. I have only given you that so that you can evaluate your situation from my angle, and hopefully find your own conclusion that neither I nor anyone else can provide to you.

Looks like I went long drawn-out essay after all. lol

Your thinking is all wrong. How can I help you if you don't care to know the truth? To desire a Bible that creates a God in your politically correct image is not a desire to know Him, but rather is idolotry. If that is what you wish to do, and do not mind putting your eternal soul on the line, then you will have to suffer the consequences. But remember, there were people, such as my self, who were willing to show you the truth, but it was rejected due to not being "what you think God should be".

To gain spiritual insight from the Bible you must study all of it and regularly.

Stop looking with your physical eyes and openyour spiritual eyes instead.

Rom 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God
