If God is the creator of all things then he must have created Satan. If he is omnipotent and knows all, then he must have found a way to justify the creation of hell for Satan and mankind prior to creating both. He is either cruel, didn't know what he was getting into, or doesn't exist.

God did create the devil. The devil is a portrayed as an angelic figure once a son of god (angel of god) who sins and is cast out. God destroyed the devil who sinned and created evil, so generally speaking, yes he is part of God's design, and is to be destroyed completely at the end of the age.

"And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down — that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him." (Revelation 12:7-9)

God created Lucifer ie the Devil. He was the most beutiful of angels but he got cocky and decided he would place himself above God. Him and all of his followers were cast out. Anyone who doubts God has full authority over the Devil should read Job the Devil could not do anything past what God allowed for Him to do.

The Devil was once the most beautiful and powerful angel created by God with free will who rebelled against God along with a third of the angels.

(*sigh*) No. You show a lack of understanding.

God created the angels first, before there were any people.

One such angel, a major leader of 1/3 of the angels, rebelled against God and wanted to dethrone God and usurp His authority. This is called rebellion and high treason.

There was war in heaven, and Jesus even said, "I saw (ie I was there when) satan was cast out of heaven."

God did not create satan as an evil being. The Bible says that he was perfect in all his ways, until he got prideful. Pride always goes before a fall, and instead of turning to God, his pride led to his ultimate fall.

Since satan can not attack God directly (a finite, created being attacking an infinite, uncreated Creator? Perposterous!), so satan attacks people, made in the very image of God, whom God loves dearly.

The day is coming when Satan WILL be judged, along with all those who follow his path of rebellion against God's rightful authority.

We get to choose to follow God's path or satan's, but we don't get to choose the consequences.

Jesus gave Christians authority over every demonic power that comes against them. He gave us the shield of faith, whereby we can quench EVERY fiery spear of the enemy.

Jesus defeated satan when he rose from the dead, and now he is nothing more than a roaring lion, de-toothed, looking whom he can devour by deceit and lies.

God did create the devil. The devil was the most beautiful angel he ever created.Of course, until the devil rebelled against God.Why do you think sin is so inviting? The devil can appear as an angel of light, and fool one into thinking he's good.

God created every thing that is or has been created and there is nothing created that He did not create! Say the Bible: John 1:3; Col.1: 16.
God don't make you act mean or disobedient and neither did he make the devil/satan be mean or disobedient either..., FREE WILL CHOICE!
HE'S ONLY A FALLEN ANGEL WHO HATES YOU AND GOD!

According to Christian beliefs God created everything. All the Heavens and Earth. With this God created all of servants....one of who was the Arch Angel Lucifer who rebelled against God along with half the angels in Heaven. God had the Arch Angel Michael cast out Lucifer along with the rest of the rebelling angels. So God did create the Devil.

What get's me is that God didn't see it coming and nip it in the bud earlier. Or why didn't God just will Lucifer and the rest into non existence and save mankind from millenia of misguidance by Satan.

Judeo-Christian beliefs make me giggle.

Satan was Gods most beautiful angel. He also held the Glory of GOD. HE rebelled against GOD for he thought he could be like GOD and God cast Satan and 1/3 of the angels that sided with satan to the earth.

The devil is our brother just like Jesus is. He just fell away from God before we came to this earth. The devil or Lucifer is also a son of God.
