can anyone tell me if a muslim boy and an orthodox girl can marry? or any other religion
i have a friend, he is from india and he is muslim, he wants to get married just i dont know how i can help him.the girl is other religion than his.is it possible that they both can marry without any problems regarding their religion?it must be difficult..
pls if u can give some advice i would really apreciate

I know that Pork is haram (banned) And it not good for us to eat.

But when I hear Muslims talk about it, You would think they are talking about eating rat poison! It is said to be dirty filthy, poisonous, and much worse.

But it can't be that bad many none Muslims eat it all the time, and they are healthy!

It is just that we are not allowed to eat it, and it is better not to.
Is it necessary to trash pork just because it is not allowed. Shouldn't we just avoid it without pretending it is poisonous.

All this anti- pork stuff seems very exaggerated. There are worse things.
Jewish people also don't eat pork or shell fish but I don't hear from Jewish people saying all these comical things about pork. They just don't eat it (though I don't read Jewish forums, so I may be unware, and exactly the same thing is said)

I'm madly in love with my bf who is a jehovah witness and i would like to marry the boy. There's no other person for me i believe. So i convert to his religion, i know the diffrence between mine and his, but what really changes as in dating wise? Not birthdays and chirstmas and new years i know all that crap already, i want to know how will it be diffrent in us seeing each other and being able to be alone with each other before he actually asks me to marry him and spend my life with him. And will his family accept me after i convert to his religion.

i dont get how some parents can expect so much from you.. there are parents who have kids and support them financially of them but there are some taht have kids so the kids can support the parents financially. like through the government.. ther more kids you have the more money you get.. how could anyone possibly want kids just to ahve more money... thast how i feel about my parents.. havhing kids to survive financially grrrrr and why are poor ppl fat in america and skinny in other countries..thrye the one gettin free money from the gov and they consider themselves poor

3 people that I love have been diagnosed with illness. I recently 7 months ago moved 3000 miles from where I used to live. Although I am working as hard as I can I am having trouble getting a job. Today all I did was cry and cry and cry.
I am devistated that the people I love are sick. I am starting to resent and hate looking for a job. I asked God to send me an angel to help me in this time of loss. I feel like I am mourning a loss is this normal to feel this way? What can I do about it?

I would have used the word religion but then my question would have been an oxymoron.
Before you sling scorching verses at me, I am not an atheist, just a frequenter of Yahoo Answers and seems to me that the average demographic profile of R&S regulars is turning more and more atheist.

I had made a serious promise to a friend and to myself that I would be good as gold and NOT gossip any longer...but, I messed up and slipped up!
I really need to know if there are things that are okay to gossip about..and Also...mainly what do you keep your mouth closed on?
Give me all types of examples...if you could please..as this can help me out sooo much!

I "know " better..but, lately I have made a few mistakes..and I have had to go back and apologize to others for what I have said to them about others!
I feel terrible!
I don't like that I slipped up...it bothers me ALOT!!!
So, if you can please give me some honest and kind advice...that would help me out greatly!

(I was trying to find like a Dear Abby or Dear Ann Landers List of "Dos' and Don'ts...so as to help me...if anybody has a list from an advice columnist....send me a link...or whatever!)

How many years separated the picking of the fruit from the tree and the cruxifixtion of jesus? Did every human go to hell between those time periods? I need a sample of that fruit and jesus's toenail for comparison. Anybody got a carbon dating kit?

I tried to give my car away to a needy family a year ago, it still worked, but it was just old.

I talked to two ministers. One said he knew of someone, but my story sounded weird so I should try another church. The other said he didn't know anyone in his congregation who needed a car.

Is this common? Do ministers usually refuse donations for needy people in their congregations?

I ended up selling my car for $1000 to a sleazy used car dealer, because I couldn't find a minister who would help me be charitable.

why did he do the whole apple thing? Shouldn't he have known that we would pick the apple? And why apples? I hate apples. Should've been pears. Nothing better than a ripe pear. If pears are too ripe they get grainy, need to be right on time. A pear is basically scrumptious for only about half an hour out of it's whole life.

To listen to some of these conspiracies and then watching a show on history channel, some of the things these conspiracy theorists try to use as evidence are sickening and just plain bull. These are the Patti Sheehans, who could honestly look her son in the eye and tell him he died for nothing. Thats just plain sickening. These people should just keep whatever they have to complain about to themselves, and not involve everyone else in contrived ideas just because they feel bad about themselves and their own lives. What do you think? Conspiracy? No?
