can a muslim boy and an orthodox/catholic girl can marry?

can anyone tell me if a muslim boy and an orthodox girl can marry? or any other religion
i have a friend, he is from india and he is muslim, he wants to get married just i dont know how i can help him.the girl is other religion than his.is it possible that they both can marry without any problems regarding their religion?it must be difficult..
pls if u can give some advice i would really apreciate

Christian women dont want a man from another religion, they want someone they can worship God together with.
2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

Yes muslim men can marry christians. The marriage would be content if they respect each others faiths. Muslims believe in and respect the injil (bible), they believe it was real but has been altered by man over the centuries. So the muslim boy should have respect for the christian girl. But she should have respect for his muslim faith like not eating pork, let him pray 5 times a day and not playing music or interupting him when he is praying, let him be the leader of the household because in Islam the man is the head of the household, and celebrating his muslim holidays with him. It would work just like any other marriage, religious obligations aside.

The answer is Muslims can marry Christians when they are following their true book. But the Christians of today have 2500 versions of the Bible each contradicting with other.So which Christian will a Muslim marry? If even today any Christian on the face of the earth follows the Bible revealed to Isa (A.S) which has not been manipulated by the Rabbis and Monks and Popes then a Muslim can marry a Christian or else no he cannot marry one.

The Muslim boy can marry the Catholic girl, but she cannot marry him because the Bible tells her not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Now, a Muslim woman cannot marry anyone but another Muslim man and in most parts of the world, the one her parents choose for her. Not against arranged marriages, just let God arrange them.

The Catholic Church allows marriage between Catholics and non-baptized persons. You will have to get permission from the bishop. This is because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge you have ahead of you.

Yup, Muslim men are allowed to marry chaste Christian and Jewish women without them having to convert first. There are some rules and regulations though. Can't recall all.
One that I remember = Children should be raised as Muslims.

anyways, Muslims are allowed to marry any non-muslims if they are willing to convert.

they shouldnt. if they must they must get out of india go to liberal country. in india they can get killed esp the girl as muslim relatives can be fanatical. or move away to another state and quietly marry. its tough in india where relig tension is quite high. the muslim boy will go unpunished but the girl may suffer. she may be forced to convert. and later difficult to get out of it. but love conquers all. so think of smthg innovative to get over this problem. its time tt religion shld move away fr its ugly doctrines and undignified rules

but the opposite situation isnt possible (muslim girl/whatever boy no no no no)... that goes a loooooong way into explaining how OPENMINDED and TOLLERANT muslims are.

Be a friend... talk her out of it, she's condemning her kids to be slave of islam.
