...about theism that is.

I'm thinking of becoming a Maltheist (someone who believes in God but believes God is evil)

It explains everything equally as well as atheism but still allows us to run for public office because we can call ouselves "people of faith."

Whenever I go out to a resturant there is always somebody sitting on the stoop, directly in front of the resturant smoking a cigerette. When I was in line for the 7th Harry Potter book, a lady was smoking in line, where there dozens of kids. I'm sick of walking down the street and breathing fresh air; than suddenly I'm breathing in second hand smoke from cancer sticks. It's so rude. Some people I know act like cigerettes are needed for survival. I have asthma and it really bothers me when I have to breathe in second hand smoke, because not only is the person's health and the people in the surronding area's health being jeapordized, I end up with a clogged nose and sneezing. What do you think about public smoking? Personally, I hate cigerettes and I am completely appaled by them. I grew up breathing in second hand smoke; with parents who had full knowledge about my asthma. I think cigerettes should be illegal.

I went to a friends' youth group last week, and this woman was talking about this project they did in Tijuana to build a house for a very poor family. I thought that was great, but she kept mentioning how all money is "God's money", and how all the money we use actually belongs to God himself. My friend is pretty extreme when it comes to religion, and I was wondering if this is just her church that thinks this, or is this a common belief among Christians? Do people really think that the money they earn is actually God's money? I find it ridiculous, but I suppose that's what some people think. Anyway, thanks!

Even self-imposed ones?

Why do some religious people think other human beings deserve to be roasted alive for eternity for any "sin," including some utterly inconsequential ones, yet these same people see no moral problem at all with the actions of their god? A god who, by their own beliefs, encourages murder (sometimes to the point of genocide), who himself supposedly killed practically every living thing on this planet.

If a human being did half the things gods are CELEBRATED for doing, that person would be executed for crimes against humanity! So why no moral outrage?

Tell me? and i don't want to hear that bullshi-t about everybody being a racist. white people created racism in the first place.

Don't white people know that when they populate only 2 or 3% of the world, their children will suffer by people of color. I mean you all know this is coming right?

White people killed off the native Australians to the point of extinction

White people almost killed of the native American to extinction.

White people enslaved black people because of there ancestory sick and psych path Ideas about being genetically superior ( which is BullShi-t because there nothing superior about recessive genes).

White people stolen resources and cultures from people of color.

Why whould some white people teach there children racism when there only setting there kids up for disappointment .

White people don't have to repay people of color anything but your just making things worse by teaching your kids hate for no good reason?!?!

Lets say I want to do ministry, thinking that I have a calling or passion. However, parents are doing everything to block that path. Others are saying I will do great. Some people say that I will maybe suffer financially or maybe I will have hard time. I am thinking that I want to do ministry related no matter what because God uses those who are weak / humble rather than those who are smart/ good speaker. Maybe I want to do part time ministry and later full time. How do i respond when parents dont like it? what would you do? just do ministry thinking that God will take care, have faith in him? or doing something else, going into work force, working full time rather than doing God's will, evangelism, and discipleship? How did you respond when you were called as a minister? what were ur obstacle? How did you make ur parents support you financially and prayer?

Let me put it another way:
Would it sound suspect to you if your travel agent asked you to believe him that all tickets are genuine? Or If your mechanic asked you to believe him that he put genuine parts on your car?

You don´t get asked to believe! It´s like getting asked to respect! It´s something that you give only when you feel that it´s deserved.

It´s repeated at every mass and many times in the bible. Suspicious, isn´t it?
Why should it be necessary to require belief? Isn´t it because it´s not deserved?

ALWAYS MISTRUST ARGUMENTS FROM AUTHORITY!
It was valid against Pythagoras, and it´s still valid today...
