Personally I think it'd turn into a really cool/fierce looking dragon (like those in Monster Hunter). Any other 'theories'?

I think it would turn into one of Anne McCaffrey's dragons.. It would be beautiful, completely loving & supportive to it's human partner, positively lethal to anyone who threatened it's partner. This question really got my imagination working. THANK YOU!

That greatly depends on the type of dragon and the magic applied.
Fortunately most dragons a very aware and intelligent so they are immune to many of the evil magics and illusions. Good magics enhance their power and confidence and often make them targets of evil.
Some are vulnerable however and can become corrupted by evil magics and they become evil themselves. They become shells of what they once were, wraiths that look like dragons that live only to hurt others because that is only way they can feel.

Hmmm Good question. It would turn into my ex wife or possibly into a Sperm Whale that appears over a planet at 25,000 feet and has time to consider the meaning of life before hitting the ground.

I've always wanted to see a 3 ton Turkey with blood in its eye. I've even got a name for the movie--"Revenge of the Magickal Turkeys," we can open on Thanksgiving day.
