No. Not wrong.
Adopting your idea would mean dumping atheism. I cannot do that.
Today's newspaper: Creating life will be possible in 3 to 10 years. Another nail in the coffin of religion is about to be hammered home.
Two Jehovah's Winesses called on me this morning. I sat 'em down and told them the truth. They were shocked when I explained big-bang and evolution. However, such is the level of childhood indoctrination, with which they agreed, they then continued on their merry way at the next houses along the street. Why are they not working? It isn't a holiday today. Why are they not involved in some humanitarian work instead? How can they ignore the beggars and the homeless on the streets and continue to wander the streets, bugging people and pushing the idea of an all-loving entity in the sky? What a waste of oxygen these people are!!!

Atheists are very convinced and have a strong faith that They do not have a Heavenly Father.
Whatever the basis for that Strong faith is something most people are not really aware of.
What ever assumption bases their Belief system needs to be substantiated. Scientifically it needs to be put to a test.
If God responds ,then their assumption would present the possibility that they could be doubly wrong.
There is a provincial saying; "He who does not sleep well, blames it on His lousy bed."
Personnaly I don t believe that a real Atheist Exists right or wrong..

Terrific question.
The Dog For President!
Apparently, these days being president means being Chief Priest, so yeah, you need to claim to believe in something.
Look how far Senator Joe Lieberman, a Jew, has gotten with the far-right Christianists. He didn't have to claim to believe in Jesus Christ to become their darling. He only needed to remind them he believs in theocracy, and in taxing unbelievers to pay for believers' schools and religious training.
The right-wing doesn't care //which// theocracy he believes in; just the general concept was enough to make them happy.
So, hmmm, maybe a Maltheist would impress them... nah. But nice try! Go, Dog!
[Seriously? I'm being unfair. Joe Liebermann is not a TOTAL tool for the right-wing religious tyrants. But I'll never forgive him for supporting using the IRS to take from me by force what churches and temples haven't been able to get from their followers by persuasion, and for all the many other times he's dumped the First Amendment and religious freedom to keep their support].

Stay an atheist... they are so amusing with their narrow-minded view of how wonderful and intelligent they are...
"I just think the whole idea of a superior being creating and supervising all life is...sorry, laughable. God means no dinosaurs. God means no cavemen. It's just not plausible."
Few people deny that cavemen or dinosaurs existed...although there seem to be an unending list of those who claim that everyone who believes in creation does deny them.
redefining beliefs of others is,...sorry, laughable!

Yes we could be wrong. If there is one thing for certain its that we cant be certain.
One of the problems that i find with religion is that they all seem so sure.I am not so arrogant as to think my small, early evolution human brain is capable of understanding the great mysteries of the universe, given our current understanding of all things.
I have my ideas, and i wouldn't consider myself an atheist, although i am not religious either. But for me to truly believe i know whats going on,especially given the lack of evidence to support any of the claims,i think would be absurd.
We humans have a long way to go before we understand life, the universe and everything. We cant even get by without killing each other.

As an atheist, i do not beleive that there is a god to to be evil. But if u want to call urself a person of faith, then y not just be agonistic. more likely u will not get many votes for being anti- god rather than just being no-god.

You don't need any of this Faith stuff if you don't believe in it. So why worry? Be free and do what you got to do. Be the person you want to be and leave this 'question' of yours for a later day/year discussion.

not a fellow atheist, yet i could say it relies upon. First, polygamy is a criminal offense, so as that creates a topic, yet in any different case, no count if it incredibly is merely consenting adults, then i don't see the subject. Mad spinach, It does not inevitably could desire to be sexist. a girl can incredibly marry diverse adult adult males. (this could artwork out great because of the fact the guy could in hassle-free terms could desire to submit with a million/2 the quantity of nagging. merely kidding) the present non secular polygamy is sexist, yet polygamy regularly does not could desire to be. Mad Spinach, ok wait a minute. you assert it incredibly is sexist if one lady marries diverse adult adult males and if diverse females marry one guy? females are actually not herds of farm animals and don't grow to be herds of farm animals because of the fact they don't incredibly choose one existence companion. it incredibly is a decision that they could consciously make. it incredibly is the comparable feminist mentality that tells women its incorrect to positioned on makeup, while as a count of certainty that the female could desire to be waiting to compliment for herself what she needs to do. except she is hurting herself or others, we could desire to consistently not be making her sense undesirable or incorrect for her possibilities.

Wrong. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, but through Him.

Sir, I rather you be atheist then to call god evil, why be luke warm, just be cold, it hasn't caused you harm yet, but on one hand you recognized that there is something present in life and thats God, but to say its evil its not quite right, there are two forces battling for your soul, God and the devil, why give it to a spirit which only wants to harm you, instead see that God is good, I am glad to know you are close to relising Gods love for you, I will pray you see God is just and good. To change to this belief only renstates that you still have pride issues that you must give to Jesus to be free
