Even if someone is silent and not showing any kind of action, the eyes speak. They speak of emotional journeys, experiences and feelings. Try covering up someone's eyes and talking to them. It wouldn't be the same. It would just be talking to a warm body.

Eyes are the window to the soul. I find its orgin in the bible 58 to 68 A.D. MAtthew 6 22-23. I read what you already found in a post previosly. Would you agree?

Basically just what it says, when you look into someone's eyes you can tell a lot about their soul. I don't believe it though.

you can look into the eyes and see who you really are, they mirror the soul
