I havent told my parents yet, but i've told many other family members, including my sister.
What I usually do is sit them down(or stand, whichever suits them) and start talking casually about things... slowly I will move up to the topic of homosexuality/bisexuality and ask their views on it. If I get a positive response, I will let them know that I am gay and just smile widely, lol..

So far, it went well for me(my sister needed some time to adjust, though..) But if your parents are okay with it, go ahead and tell them.. but be careful, alright? If they're not, you might get into some trouble... And they might even kick you out of the house, that is, if you still live with them...
Good luck, okay? Take care! :-)

i hope your planned coming out goes well and your parents accept that. i don't think your sexual orientation is something you can really choose and change. you are what you are.

i am also bisexual. but i came out by accident when my mom walked in on me and another girl. it was awkward but it was funny too because she left the house and didn't come home for like 5 hours. but when she came back we had a nice calm talk about it and she accepted me who who i am, right before she grounded me for getting busy in the house.

I went to Brighton Pride the Saturday before I came out, my mammy found a train ticket that I had left on my bedside table, and said, "how did you get money to go to Brighton" and I said, "I went with the man I'm seeing, it was Brighton Pride, I'm gay" and she did say, "was it nice, is he nice", "yes there was a parade" said I, and she then went on to say, "That sounds fun".
It was well easy.
