Messianic Jew's beliefs are quite a bit different from the rest of us and quite frankly assigning the title "Jew" to a person who is actually a practising Christian is a bit odd and a contradiction of the term. Yes I am Jewish and I'm not saying this to be rude, but I've found that that's very odd to both Jews and Christians alike. As for the kippah, different types mean different things (in Israel). Certain kinds stand for some that are against the government, etc. A lot of American tend not to catch that.

No, you have an idol, and as an apostate, you are not allowed to participate in Jewish ceremonies. Wearing a kippah is not a Jewish ceremony like being given an aliyah, but it's offensive as you cannot be Jewish and Xtian at the same time. To proclaim you are Jewish but believe in J*sus is blasphemy. We do not have the same Tanakh, the same G-d, or the same mitzvot. You are an apostate.

I guess that would be like a formerly Muslim woman continuing to wear hijab like she's a Muslim but saying that she believes there is a man who is God. It doesn't work. The two don't go together.
You don't have the same God anymore if you believe in the trinity. Besides, aren't you living under grace now? Can't you throw most of the mitzvot out the window? Why follow the Law at this point?
I'm not trying to be be mean, but can't you see how you have negated your Jewish faith by believing in Christianity?

Very simply because you are not Jewish. messianic Judaism, Jews for Jesus, Hebrew Christians, "Completed Jews- whatever the name of the week is- are all nothing more than Christian sects trying to deceive Jews into converting to Chrsitianity. As such- their wearing of the kippah is nothing more than a deceitful trick to try and fool uneducated people into thinking that you are actually Jewish! If you stuck to yourselves we would not have an issue- but since all these movements are active in trying to convert Jews- we see your emulating of our ways as fraudelent and misleading.

I'm Jewish and I don't care if you wear a propeller on your head and a feather duster up your tush. It's a free country.
My only objection was when a bunch of Messianic Jews started passing out pamplets and candy to the kids coming out of our Hebrew school. Then I felt like hurting people.

Nope. You cannot be a Jewish Christian, just like you cannot be a fish-eating vegetarian. Both are contradictions in terms. Jesus has no place in Judaism; he is central to Christianity. Christians seem to think that what you believe is central, while Jews believe your actions are what matter most. Which is why a true Jew won't push for converts, while Christians feel they must bring their word to everyone.

No we do not. If you believe in Jesus as the messiah you have forsaken Judaism, period. You may be technically Jewish because your mother was but you have left the religion as surely as if you had embraced idol worship.

Jesus is God.
Jesus is your Machiach. There won't be any other (except a fake one, antichrist). Jesus is the only way for you to be saved.
