do ppl in the army who go to war and kill ppl, go to hell? I was thinking about joining the army, but when I read the ten commandments, it said that we shouldnt kill ppl. so would i go to hell if i was in the army and i killed someone (war reasons).?
plz also post what religion u are. thanks.

Why is Jesus name the only name used as a swear? I find it interesting that the bible says not to take the Lords name in vain and here we are thousands of years later using His name as a swear. Think about it honestly and you could come to the conclusion that this is a prophesy fulfilled. So many people say that Jesus was just a good person and people say that Ghandi and Buddah and Muhammad were to but it is Christ name that we use in vain and the bible calls him Lord. Now lets be honest is this a coinsidence?

Think about it. Are you the religion you are bcause it is the religion you were taught? Or did you come by your reigion honestly and with the effort to learn everything about your faith?

I was reading the "New Revised Edition" of the King James bible and I looked at Psalms 83:18 where I know my old King James Bible listed God's name as "Jehovah", but now it just says "the Lord". Where did Gods name go? Why was it removed and by whom? Does anyone else find this offensive?

I grew up in the church but when i found out that hell was not meant for humans i was surprisingly shocked. (i found this out years ago, i am just writing to share my thoughts).
Matthew 25:41 says "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."
God whole plan for human kind did not include death, separation, and eternal fire.
also 2 peter 3:9 says
"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
God is a loving God that has patience for us. He wants so much for us to come to know Him.

God owns 2/3 of the angels, devil owns 1/3. Odds are in favor of God. But the devil is god of this world.

maybe God is lazy? why do you think God loses the war? only when the devil is gone, can he lead the people in rightousness. Devil comes back and threws God out of this world. Do you think people love the devil and his ways more then God? what is your veiws?

I am having sinning issues. I abuse people who say nasty things to me, I swear sometimes, Judge, backstab others that have hurt me. I need mature answers. And I need your prayers so I can repent. becasue at the moment I am unmotivated. When the rapture happens will I be left becasue of these sins? I know I need to stop these things, but it is very difucult. God the Father can only take so much until his wrath will pour out. I don't go to church as I feel the sermons are boring, and I do not get anything out of the service. I leave feeling the same way I walk in. So I do not go. I do not bible bash. I have learnt that people should make thier own decissions about their salvation. It is by choice that people come to Jesus. But putting that aside I need your prayers to help me to repent of those sins I have mentioned and mean it. Unless I repent I feel God will damn me. It is so hard being a christian. I have not been tithing as much as I used to, as I cannot affort to. Please Help

A couple of the others were Seagul/ because of her skinny legs and Pistol Pete/ because he was a hand full.

Have I comitted The unforgivable sin?

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness...I left the faith...Now after much heart felt research, I believe the Jehovah's Witness faith to be a false religion.
I did not leave the faith and choose to deceive Witnesses, but am absolutely sure in my soul that the WBTS is leading Witnesses on a path of destruction.
Should I be quiet and let my knowledge of false prophecy be mine alone, or should I do the best that I can to reveal the falsehood of the WBTS thus maybe helping some to come to Christ?

Ok so a couple of mormons came to my door and knowing how timid, polite and unassertive I am they talked me in to a one on one meeting with them. I really dont want to go and dont want them to come to my door again. How can I do this without them tracking me down or making me feel guilty?
