I was raised with no religion.
Morals were taught to me through example, not the Bible.
I am definitely who I am because of my parents.

I left the religion I was born into because the clergy men never answered my questions. I have the one that I believe to be the truth. No one can tell you that your religion is right or wrong. But if you feel that yours is not meeting up to your satisfaction you have the free will to find the one that touches your heart. Many people have the minds knowlegde of their beliefs but not the heart knowledge. Menaing that they belive in an all powerful being but dont apply the teaches in thier daily lives. "Faith is dead without works." Changing you religion is a very personal matter that someone else can guide you to make. But ultimatly it is up to you to choose which one you will pick.

My mom is Catholic; my Dad was Protestant; I was raised Catholic, and will raise my son the same, because it's what I know. I go to church regularly but not weekly, and I do not believe you need to "be" in church, to "believe" in God; I believe in God, but I do not "study" my religion, as it is not the foundation of who I am. I feel that God is there when I need him; and he leaves me when someone else needs him more. I think most people in life are hypocrits about their religion, and this is why I don't go on and on and on about religion. I practice on my own time and I don't preach about it. Why? Because if I were a true Catholic, I would have to stay with my first husband and endure a life of Hell, because divorce is against my religion; I would not be able to go to church and receive the host, because I'm divorced, and that is a sin; sex out of wedlock is a sin (I like sex); etc., etc., blah blah. Basically I'm a crooked Catholic. I can't stand preachers who carry on about Jesus this and God that. There is no "correct" religion. You believe what you believe and I believe what I believe. Oh, and when I yell "Oh God! Oh God! during a heated moment, I have definitely seen the light! Amen. Woo Woo

I don't have a religion and this is not something that I was taught. A lot of soul searching and research brought me to where I am. I follow my own personal beliefs that are not bound to any religion or pre-existing belief. I'm more of a spiritualist believing that God cannot be defined but believing God is everywhere and part of everything.

I abandoned Lutheranism long a go. I'm an agnostic pagan Witch, and I live in the very intellectual, liberal SF Bay Area. i came by my spiritual path through my own study and effort, although living where I do certainly has been nurturing for me in my growth. It might have been different in the Bible Belt. I shudder to think!

I'm seventh generation LdS. However, I did my own soul searching when I was 18. I won't give the details, but I KNOW I'm on the right path.
I won't get into why mine is the true Church or what makes other Churches false - that would only serve to tear us apart instead of edifying each other as brothers in Christ.

I was raised a non-believer, born to non-believer parents. I'm still a non-believer, cause I've not seen any evidence to contradict my non-belief. Who knows, perhaps some compelling evidence might come to light some day, and I might reconsider my non-belief.

No, I don't have the same religion as my parents, if that what you mean. I found my religion after researching all the other ones out there.
What makes my religion the "correct" one is that it makes the most sense to ME, and gives ME an applicable way to practice it.

I changed religions when I became an adult ...made an honest search.... and found so much evidence for the Bible... more original manuscripts of Bible text than of Homer's Illiad... and it makes sense and following it hasn't just changed my destiny but my attitude, and my heart.
