Have I comitted The unforgivable sin?
I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness...I left the faith...Now after much heart felt research, I believe the Jehovah's Witness faith to be a false religion.
I did not leave the faith and choose to deceive Witnesses, but am absolutely sure in my soul that the WBTS is leading Witnesses on a path of destruction.
Should I be quiet and let my knowledge of false prophecy be mine alone, or should I do the best that I can to reveal the falsehood of the WBTS thus maybe helping some to come to Christ?

Even if it makes them really REALLY mad? I know that I can not be silent...just as they can not be silent with their Gospel.

Foxtrot...You may be right.....It feels to me like there are many who are so dedicated and are running toward a cliff and I want to scream at them to STOP and just LOOK at what they are doing! If God wants to save them, then He will decide, but I have to try.

Coming out of any bondange has some similarities--whether someone has gone through AA or NA or been brought out from any false religions or addictions--you have a certain obligation because of your freedom to share with others what you know. It's just as important to reach other believers in Jesus with the truth about how to reach out to JWs also.
Especially if you've ever led others astray in teaching the false doctrines you may feel an almost unbearable need to reach out to those you feel the most deeply about.
If you are feeling driven to do this out of guilt--then don't do it. Forgive yourself and those who led your whole family astray first. Allow your heart to be full of the pure motivation of love in Christ Jesus.
If, however, ( I suspect in your case ) you just simply have a burden for those who are currently deceived as you were--then you are being led by God to share what you know in whatever context available to you--in this case the internet.
May God Bless You to share the gospel with whomever and where ever his Holy Spirit leads you.

quite the opposite.
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin.
Blasphemy is not allowing the Holy Spirit speak through you when the time to do so is upon one.
It is obvious that you question the false doctrines and the authority of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
Helping your fellow brothers and sisters is what a Christian does! Many JWs do love God Almighty and follow His son Jesus Christ. I agree these Christians are being led down a path of destruction by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
There are people that are under the influence of base desires and even the evil one within the membership and they hurt others deeply and getting past that by an individual may take a long time.
If you are moved by the Holy Spirit to expose false doctrine and the action then continue to do so. This is just the very opposite of blasphemy.

Yes, it's true that Jehovah's Witnesses are false. Jehovah Witnesses normally use the verse that says, 'The world hates you because it hates Me.' when they are challenged by other Christians or non-Christians. They don't realize that there is a flaw in that. All other denominations can use that verse too in spreading Christianity, not only them.
Therefore, don't be surprise that teachings like Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons creeped up.
Also, Jehovah Witnesses discouraged Unity and Education.
You have NOT committed the Unforgivable sin. The Bible is Hard to understand because it reflects the divine nature of God so that's why, when reading the Bible, we have to pray to allow the Holy Spirit to open our eyes. I admire your stand and you'll reflect the life of a humble rubbish collector. You'll clean the trash of falseness and dig the rubble for the truth. With the help of the Holy Spirit, go and clean the JWs of their false teachings. It may take years and years to get a convert but don't be discourage. An evangelist had to wait for a decade before he had ever gotten a convert from JW.
In general, go and reveal the falsehood of the WBTS and remember, get yourself armed with prayers and devotions first.

I saw a video recently about how Jehovah's Witnesses had destroyed families and friendships through the practice of disfellowshiping. I think that is where I would draw the line myself, but I don't know that you are in a position to rail against the WBTS so much as to provide your testimony to mainstream Christianity. There are many churches that would want to hear you speak if you're willing to do so.

Have you committed the unforgivable sin (sinning against the holy spirit)? I don't know, for only Jehovah knows what is in your heart, and it is not for me to judge, but are you sure, you are not leading some away from Christ? I mean what other point do you have for stirring up contention and building confusion, and why stay with the Jehovah's Witnesses if you are sure that they are false? Very strange thing to do.What, really is your mission and who put you on this mission? God's truth and commission is not to badmouth other people or religion, it is to draw people to his Word the Bible is this what you are doing? Be careful because you could commit the unforgivable sin if you go against God's truth! don't forget Jesus was called a false prophet and false teacher even a blasphemer, you may have grown up in the Witnesses, but it does not mean you understand everything or were one.If the Witnesses are on the false path, what is the right path then?Do you even know?

Yes and 'maters Granny answered this question perfectly. The first imperfect human (after Adam and Eve) who was a Witness to Jehovah was Abel the brother to Cain. Jesus was the first spiritual Witness to Jehovah as he was the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15)

I think that you should do what I did when I realized that the Lutheran Faith that I was raised in was wrong. I left it, and never looked back.
What I find strange, is the amount of people who had a bad experience with the JW's, that will not let go and get on with their lives, and tsake upon themselves the stand of attacking ALL JW's.
I think the Bible scriptures from the man Gamelial should be considered when a person feels the need to attack a religion.
Acts 5:34 But a certain man rose in the San´he·drin, a Pharisee named Ga·ma´li·el, a Law teacher esteemed by all the people, and gave the command to put the men outside for a little while. 35 And he said to them: “Men of Israel, pay attention to yourselves as to what YOU intend to do respecting these men. 36 For instance, before these days Theu´das rose, saying he himself was somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined his party. But he was done away with, and all those who were obeying him were dispersed and came to nothing. 37 After him Judas the Gal·i·le´an rose in the days of the registration, and he drew off people after him. And yet that man perished, and all those who were obeying him were scattered abroad. 38 And so, under the present circumstances, I say to YOU, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; 39 but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, YOU may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”
I know you from previous interchanges, and that you had a bad experience in the orginization. I too, had some bad experiences with some Jw's by reason of bad association. I refuse to pass judgement on the whole orginization by reason of my bad experience, why? Because, the doctrine is just so much better than anything else out there.
While you certainly have the right to leave the JW's, the taking of a firm stand against them, is a dangerous, thing.
Out of respect, I refuse to pass judgement on the Lutheran Church that I was raised in, and I would think that, as a person who wants to be a Christian, you should do likewise.
Really, you and I both know, that if you take a poublic stand against the JW's, you actually support them in the sense that the Bible says that Jesus followers will be spoken of in a negative way.
If you really want to do some good, get on with your life. It is certainly not every JW's fault that you experienced things that were wrong. It is patently unfair to judge all people based upon the conduct of some. I personally have had Jw's bend over backwards to help me without any expectation of anything in return, even though, the problems I was having were totally my fault.
YES, there are some JW's that are wolves in sheep's clothes, but to condemn the entire religion based on the actions of a small percetage, is just wrong.

You did the right thing and it is obvious that the Spirit of God is walking you toward Him and His Son Jesus Christ. For now I would just do all I could to get good sound orthodox preaching, teaching and reading of the bible done. I would wait for the right time for God to reveal what ministry you will have in His kingdom with your JW friends and family.
If you have not yet put your faith in Christ then today is the day to do that by falling on Christ to save you. I would love to answer any more questions you have. You need to give it all to Christ asking Him to save you and restore you relationship with Him. You have not committed and sin that God cannot and will not forgive. You are fortunate to have been able to see the error of the JW's and come out from among them.
Bravo!

Well, firstly as anyone who has read the Bible, most likely including the asker, should know we all have free will. Clearly it is anyone's right to have thier own opinions, and as long as they politely do so, there is no reason for them not to do so, though they should strive to be accurate. In turn it is then the free right of anyone to say, yes I will listen, or no I won't.
As for exposing something v. helping others. While it can be often helpful to "expose falsehoods" if that is someone's only goal it can be rather ineffective.
Case in point, many firmly believe that using Gasoline is wrong as it polutes. However, just saying, Don't use gas, offers little, and puts constraints. However, showing an alternative, then gives the person something to consider.
Another example, an associate of mine was a life gaurd. She always tried to never say "NO RUNNING" to the kids. She instead said "Walk". This way she reminded them not to run, AND gave them somewhere to turn.
Simply making claims/expressing ones self, about feelings that someone or something is wrong, but not giving reasons why something else is right, offers little if anything.
One thing I have noticed, is sadly, many on here who feel they are saving others through their postings, tend to let things get murky and resort to slinging the mud. If someone has problems with my actions, address them, my beliefs, address them, me, address it. However, start to make claims about me, without knowing me, and you end up getting less and less of a listening ear.

How could anyone remain silent when they fear for the immortal souls of those who have been lead astray? Except JW's don't believe there is an immortal soul - just as they don't believe in hell. However, that's not the point.
A true Christian is compelled to spread the gospel message. We have to be salt and light. My only comment is that whatever we do and say, we must do in true Christian LOVE, with COMPASSION and HUMILITY and to the glory of God. It is the Governing Body who are responsible for misleading others. Their followers are decent, honest, God-fearing and Bible believing people. Point them to Christ - and the Holy Spirit will do the rest. God bless.
