What are your conclusions and thoughts based on this? Does this say anything to you?

"Regular meetings are mandatory for Muslims to stay connected with their community. But all Islamic organisations should adopt a "Family First" policy if they are serious about being vehicles of Islam. Lectures and conferences can only give people theoretical knowledge. You may fully understand the status of women in Islam, or the duties of wives, for example, but your trial is to see if you can behave in this manner at home. Each trial that your family presents to you is a means for inner purification, and serves as the practical training and test of your faith.

Denying companionship to your wife and children is not the meaning of Ibrahim's sacrifice. At no time did Ibrahim give up or sacrifice his relationship with his sons or his wives in order to follow Allah. Nor did he leave his sons' religious education and moral upbringing to their mothers while he went off to make dawah.

To me, religion is the practicing of a particular faith; and spirituality is what we have INSIDE.
What's your interpretation?:)

I really don't get the "GOD HATES FAGS" signs and people who preach that. Where in the bible does it say that god "hates" gay people? Where in the bible does it say that god "hates" ANYONE?

The bible only says that taking part in homosexual acts is a sin. But lying is a sin as well, and so is sleeping with someone outside of marriage. If God "hates" gay people, then he "hates" people who lie, or envy their neighbor's car, or have sex before marriage.

I know that MY God doesn't hate anyone.

When I was about maybe 11; my older sister who was 17 at the time and I got into a huge verbal argument. I remember cursing her out calling her a f**king c**t and she got mad as hell. She dragged me by the arm to the kitchen sink and pinned me against it with her body. She grabbed the bottle of Palmolive dish liquid, squeezed open my mouth, and poured some of that horrid stuff in my mouth. When I was able to get away I ran to the bathroom and did my best to rinse out my mouth; by adding water it made it foam up more.

When my parents came back I told my mother what happened. She didn't look to happy but she said I deserved it and didn't do anything about it.

Hundreds of people in ships and planes went down oin the Burmuda Triangle never to be seen again! What if some of those people from 20, 30, 50, years ago started to resurface back into our society looking and acting like they never aged or changed since they were last seen? Is it true the Triangle is a portal to the Lost City of Atlantis?

My cultural and family heritage died with my grandparents before I was born. I only know that they were Scandinavian and Germanic. I feel the need to connect with my history and Asatru seems like a good place to start.

Are there any books, websites, information...anything that you would be willing to share?

Thank you.

A local preachers wife was having surgery, so some of the nurses and techs wanted to have a prayer session before starting. The doctor asked them to try and hurry, then left. When he came back in, another tech student asked him if he was Christian. He said no, that he was atheist. She asked him how he could be atheist when he saw miracles every day. He said "We do our jobs, and nature does the rest. If a god had anything to do with it, I wouldn't end up covered in blood every day. Of course, I wouldn't be driving a Porsche either!"

I am 16 years old. Okay, lets look at the feather. a truly marvel of desgin. with a downard thrust of its wings, a seagull launches itself skyward. Once aloft, it wheels and turns, rising effortlessly on the wind. Making only tiny adjustments to the angle of its wings and tail, the bird hangs nearly motionless in the air. what enables it to perform thoose functions with such grace and perfection? to a great extent, its feathers. birds are the only animals today that grow feathers. Most birds have diffrent kinds of feathers. the most visble are the overlapping contour feathers, which give birs their smooth, aerodynamic shape. contour feathers include the wing and tail feathers. which are vital to flight. A humming bird may have fewer than 1,000 such feathers, and a swan more than 25,000. Okay let me get to the point. the fact of the a matter is feathers are "a little to perfect" thats the problem notes yale university's manual of orinthology. feathers give no indication that they ever

with the ever growing and Anti-GOD Atheist movement that wants to eliminate the concept of religion and GOD from the planet?

What I am saying is that Religion in itself wether it is Judaism, Christianity or Islam is really new when you speak of how old the earth and universe is.

GOD the concept in not a religion he is the Alpha and the Omega and is infinite rather he was involved in the aspects of the world and universe before religion was even thought of.

That being said we don't have to refer to the Bible for infinite answers about GOD or a certain religious faith because GOD has been about way before man and religion was thought of.

This should be the base of debating science and atheism don't you think?

Several of you just responded that because of Eve eating the forbidden fruit, there is now pain in childbirth. A few questions, please.

How was childbirth "originally designed" to be pain free? Were babies born at 1 pound (which would still be pretty painful)? Did women have no nerve endings in the abdominal region? What about other hundreds of thousands of species that clearly experience pain in childbirth? Were humans the only species NOT to have pain in childbirth or were all female creatures painfree in childbirth and god redesigned them after Eve ate the fruit?

Thank you for your responses. I look forward to reading them.

My sister can walk into a room full of people - and say "I feel some bad spirits in here" - I in the end - she's usually right! I passed a dog while walking - it barked until I approached - at which point the dog came up and licked me - the man said - You must have a good spirit - he (the dog) always barks continually at people! I didn't know what to say - so I smiled and said all right!
