Yes. That is why you dress appropriately for a job interview or a wedding. I am not saying I fully believe it is right, but a first impression is often an indication of how you will be treated. The reverse of this would be that it is a display of your respect for certain occasions.

Yes, If a young lady is dressed in a business suit or nice dress, with hose and heels, she will not be putting her feet up on the coffee table. While if she is bare foot, dressed in jeans and tee shirt, she might think nothing of putting her feet on the coffee table while watching a good movie on TV.
If a guy is wearing a nice pair of slacks and a sweater, he won't be sitting on the hood or fender of his car while hanging out with his boys. However, if he is wearing cut offs and a basketball jersey, he might do just that.
The more casually we dress, the less careful we are about our conduct. Dress nicely, stand tall, walk more carefully, sit more carefully, speak more carefully. Watch your own behavior and check it out.

yes I do. Like getting a date or a job and things of that nature you are going to go toward the ones dressed more in your taste than not.
