You are absolutely right. God loves us all, but does not approve of our sins. I personally do believe homosexuality to be a sin, but I hate how some Christians and others treat it as if it were the sin of all sins. It is no worse than lying or fornication. It's amazing how people who do those things will judge a homosexual to no end.
It's easier for people to criticize cuz most people aren't tempted by it. It's a lot easier to criticize something you aren't tempted by. That's why you don't see "God hate fornicators" or "God hates divorced people" much. Those hit too close to home for more of people.

Those morons misinterpret the Bible and then brainwash their kids with lies about God. If you ask me, surely doing that is a bigger sin than homosexuality is. I still don't believe that homosexuality is a sin or that its such a big deal. If God really disliked homosexuality, then he would have made it one of the commandments, which its not. God is love, what they're doing is totally the opposite and if anyone is going to hell, its them.
In my oppinion, their "God" sounds like a loser. I mean, what kind of God is so insecure that me creates people just so that they can fear and obey stupid rules that make no sense.
They're an insult to religion and the fact that they do this in the name of Christianity is disgusting.

That's the Westboro Baptist Church. Led by Fred Phelps, it is practically no different than a cult. They have a complex on one city block somewhere in Kansas, owned by their family. Fred Phelps goes on the air and broadcasts offensive, hateful messages, his interpretation of God. With convoluted logic his family manages to convince themselves (and tries to convince others) that every bad thing that happens to the groups they oppose (homosexuals, the military, and Sweden, to name a few) is a direct lashing-out from God himself. These nut-jobs are the people you see on television picketing FUNERALS, WEDDINGS, and other events with signs such as "DYKE TROOPS" "FAG SWEDEN" "GOD HATES FAGS" "GOD HATES AMERICA". While they somewhat try to follow the more basic principles taught by Christianity, these people are unargueably evil, using religion as a way to further their own gains. They're to be shunned. If you want more information, google the name of the church and other names such as "Matthew Shepherd" (a homosexual college student who was beaten and tortured ruthlessly by men from a bar and left to die) The Church wasted no time arriving to picket at his funeral, where they argued that God wanted him to die for being a sinner and that the men did God's work. But don't worry, if you think it's going to spread, it's not. It's held within one family mostly, the most hated family in America as a documentary was named.

An aside on the English language. At one point of our, not long past, history, A person could be said to be; "Sucking on a f_a_g." or at a bit later period "Sucking a B_u_t_t." There would be few eyebrows raised and those were over the use of slang not the meaning, as both meant "Smoking a cigarette." On another shoe, the the last decade of the 18th century was titled "Gay," but I guess that would be a choice of sorts.

I love when they say, GOD loves all people... then they spew off discrimination against anyone or any lifestyle they feel doesn't apply to their interpretations of the bible, or when you bring up sections of the bible that talks about stoning to death if you commit adultery... and their reply is that's taking the bible too literally, then ask why two people of the same sex can't lie with each other, if one statement shouldn't be followed based on terms being too liberal, but we should follow the other?
it makes no sense to me, i think if there were a GOD, he'd be thrilled that two people actually show love to one another, that's far too limited in this day in age, thus no GOD can exist,

The funniest part is that the whole 'sleeping in the same bed as another man' or whatever that jazz in Leviticus says, its in the same section saying that vegitable gardens, 'un-natural' things, shaving, and sleeping in the same bed that a mestruating woman has slept in... so... yeah, isn't everyone kind of screwed?
People tend to forget that the Bible was written as a set of rules because people were going nuts back then. All they were trying to do was keep you safe and healthy. Somewhere along the line, people took it, aplified it, turned it into a verbatum dictation of how live should be lived and took all the fun out of living.
If he hates you, he hates me. Too bad I don't believe in him, huh?

God hates no one . God hates sin . God hates the sin of those who hate but he don't hate the sinner. John 3:16 says For God so loved the World ( That means everyone ) that he gave his only begotten son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but shall have ever lasting life.

As far as I know the Bible doesn't even mention fags or gays.
It's just that the people who have them signs are retarted and work for the Devil, so when they say God hates, they are refering to their god the devil himself.
Why else would they think God hates dead soldiers or God hates America.
It's just garbage.
My God hates No One.
It's your choice to do what you want, he will not make you believe because that would defeat the purpose and make us all slaves not free humans.

I think there are 6 admonishments against homosexuality and over 1,000 for heterosexuality in the bible. Its not the bible that these people are getting this hate from its their religions and its teachers. If these people actually read the bible they would realize that they are in more serious trouble than homosexuals. But you're right, if there is a God, that being does not preach hate. She preaches love. :-)
