George Carlin is the one who talks about the list of words you can't say on television...I don't recall seeing a list of forbidden cuss words in the bible (except the third commandment of course). However, unfortunately, it does seem that people have all sorts of funny ideas about words and, right or wrong, it WOULD cause some people to question a Christian's testimony if they used "bad words"...and the bible says that we should be careful not to let our words tarnish our testimony.

I wish it wasn't true because I'm a Christian and I can cuss like a sailor...but I try to be considerate of the people around me so that my choice of words doesn't cause them to dismiss the message...it is a hard habit to break!

The existence of a Christian is a confusing one. we are meant to place others in the previous ourselves whether we ought to make the suited sacrifice, that is to provide up our lives. even inspite of the undeniable fact that we are no longer speaking approximately giving up his existence because of the fact he's swearing the assumption in the back of it nonetheless applies. that is he's meant to place others in the previous himself. If his swearing is inflicting others to think of undesirable approximately him or Christians then he ought to provide up. This is going for all issues in his existence. If there's a undeniable concern he does that reasons others to stumble or sin then he shouldn't do it. whether he has to bottle it up, that;s the sacrifice he has to make. besides his excuse is invalid because of the fact there are different how you will get the rigidity and frustration out different than swearing. think of of it this way, if he would not say or do something in church why could he do it removed from church. I advise inspite of each and every thing being a Christian is a existence-type that is autonomous of your environment, no longer only something that modifications depending on the place you're. as quickly as you substitute right into a Christian, your physique is the place God dwells and no remember the place you're, you ought to nonetheless stay like a Christian.

If it were a slip that would be a little different than if it were all the time. Christian's behavior's depend on where they are at the time in their Christian walk!

na. swear words are just words. some people throw them around casually with no intention of insulting people. Some people never swear but are very very good at being verbally cruel

It would prove they are human.

Do you expect Christians to be perfect? If it was a habit I would say possibly.
