LDS Apostle Orson Hyde, "God our Heavenly Father was perhaps once a child, and mortal like we are, and rose step by step in the scale of progress, in the school of advancement; has moved forward and overcome, until He has arrived at the point where He now is" (Journal of Discourses 1:123).

Now look at what the Bible says in Romans 1:21-23
"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
1:22
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

The true God of the Bible was always God, the only God, always without sin. You, in saying He was a man who attained godhood, have changed Him into the corruptible image of man- and essentially denied His diety.

U cannot deny God and be a Christian and go to heaven

Do you think that this points to gay people as being further evolved and closer to God - since they have a blending of both aspects in one being?

1. How old were you
2. Who did it or where was it done
3. What was your first earring in your new piercing
4. Did you get more

I was 17. My mom did my ears with an ice cube to numb them, a darnig needle with dental floss threaded through it, and a cork behind my ear. Then I got to do hers.

I slept with the dental floss overnight. The next day she bought me some beautiful pearl earrings that screw in. The hole was almost closed and I spent two hours screwing those new earrings into my ears. Yes it hurt! I still have one.

Several years later in my 30's, I got a second hole in each ear at the mall. It wasn't very memorable. I don't use them very often. Now that my original holes are getting stretched from the phone and heavy earrings I use the back hole sometimes.

Think about it...Satan wanted to rule Heaven.

Now, what if another fallen angel or group of fallen angels would have had the same desire (except they wanted to rule Hell) and would be like:

"How's about we overthrow Satan?? That way we get to rule Hell".

Do you think another rebellious division in Satan's fallen army will cost him getting overthrown out Hell?

I feel like God has already told me that this is wrong. But I want to know if anyone els has felt the same conviction. Alot of churches these days are a Church and a Restuarant in one. Like just before church or just after church, they'll sell you a tray of food or a cup of coffee. I find it unchristian for two reasons. Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple. And second, Jesus always fed people for free. I think pot lucks are alot more Christian way to feed people at church. But of course alot of churches sell dinners claiming they need the money for missionaries. Early Christians had manditory tithing. Also Alot churches sell books and c.d.s. If you have to sell me a book on salvation, I'm not going to think you're real. A Church I use to go to now has a CASH REGISTER in the church selling coffee. I was asked for 50 cents for water. You know what Jesus said about giving someone a cup of water. It's almost as bad as churches that have scheduled smoke breaks.

don't you have better things to do than disturb people?

you knock early in the morning, or showing up at any ungodly time of the day whenever you feel like it, showing disrespect by telling them their beliefs are wrong, condemning them to hell because their beliefs differ from yours, etc. don't you ever get tired of that? also, you're not respecting people's privacy. are you aware of that?

NOTE: please don't quote me the Bible. answer the question with your own words and thoughts.

Would you convert to Islam or any faith if it was required so you could be with the one you love? I mean if you loved them that much? It doesn't take much, just say a sentence infront of religious elders. You do not have to change anything about you unless you choose to. If you are serious about conversion than you can follow the steps, but I mean if it was the only way to stop from losing the one person who has always been there for you and has loved you for 10 years since highschool. I dont mean right away but say 4 years dating perhaps?
