Is this unusual? Have you ever seen anyone move the smallest toe on the foot almost like the smallest finger on the hand?

Not exactly something that comes up in a lot of casual conversations; so, I can't say as I have.

I can do it with my left, but not my right. I can move it up and down or left and right, independent of the other toes, or in unison with my big toe. The three middle toes on that foot are more or less 'motion tied.' The little toe on my right has been broken several times, so it does what the next toe does, always.

I am right handed.

It's the way the foot is muscled, to move the little toe even slightly other parts of the foot at least twitch...

yes I can do it. OH I just read Terry (avatar above me) I used to go barefoot all the time. I had such leathery feet as a child I could walk on the gravel roads without shoes. (Dang I was such a hill billy) Wouldn't know it now to look at my callous free, pedicured, pink polished toes.

A technical: If you went barefoot a lot when you were young the muscles and nerves in your little toes developed. If you wore shoes, especially tight shoes, they usually did not develope.

I can move it freely from side to side, and I can curl it under my foot, but I can't raise it without the toe next to it raising too.

I can, but that's no big deal. My friend Jessi can pick up a banana, peel it, and then bring it to her mouth to est it, all with her feet. She was on Rikki Lake, but I still think it is a little gross,

I can on my left foot, but can't on my right. I wonder if my being left handed has anything to do with that??

I tried I can't. It has somthing to do with how the muscles are all connected and things like that as far as I know.
