Well, this depends on how well you know them. Ask about things they used to enjoy, maybe in a one-on-one situation. Then once a week do one of those things, if possible.
We used to load them up and go to the Horse Races (maybe they all give a dollar and bet a favorite or long shot, expecting to lose), Lake (Bring some fishing poles), Park (Bring some Corn Bread for the birds), Maybe see if they all willing and able to volunteer once a week for something, Pet Shelter or Read a Story Book for some children (Maybe just tell some stories of their own). The possibilities are limitless.

zoo, museums, trips to the country, picnics, euchre, rummy, and other card games, bird watching, band concerts, ice cream socials, story telling, book reading discussions, picture taking, bingo, board games, dances, have local dance studios come in and entertain, plays, movies, singers such as barbershop quartets,

Have an ice cream social, and play trivia....search online for trivia, they would love it......ask things like can you tell us about your first date......worked in an assisted living facility, and we did this, and we all had fun. Sometimes we called it "happy hour" and served virgin drinks.....we would have a blast.....
