No I don't not at all. I think lack of commonsense and awareness is the real threat in our society.

No, society is a threat to homosexuals. People just want to know every detail of something they find repulsive. Makes ya wonder!

I believe that the openly gay, especially those who are fervent activists, are a threat only in their attempt at the demoralization of society. While I do treat homosexuals with love and compassion, I don't feel it is acceptable that they feel we should not only be accepting of their lifestyle but almost encouraging. It is an abomination against God, and all that I believe, for a man to lay with another man as a man lay with a woman, and the same for womankind.

If a person wants to be a sinner, let him do so, and figure out how he will find his peace with God. But, do not ask me to agree with him.

Not at all. They aren't hurting anyone, so there is no threat. Nothing a gay person does has an effect on one's personal life, so why all this worry about gay people?

Saying they're a threat to society is just a fundie way to create fear of something quite harmless. It's like saying a stuffed animal is a threat to society because it's not the right color fabric.

To what society? The society in which one in four girls is molested or sexually abused in their lifetime? The society where two children are kidnapped every sixty seconds? The society where girls are told you're only as good as your body and boys are taught to reinforce this? The society where hardly any child is raised with both a healthy mother and father figure because the dad doesn't care or the mom is too wrapped up in the past and won't allow him to be around?

Oh, and let's not forget the proud child molester whose banging on about his disgustingness on the internet that we can't "do anything" about.

That society? Yeah, the gays are messing us up so bad.

To each his own. Don't flaunt your lifestyle in my face and I won't do it to you. As long as what you're doing isn't affecting anyone else - you're cool with me, sweetie.

Depends on what your definition of "threat" is. I think society and workplace is being forced to allow more and more conveniences for gays. I don't agree with it, but it's here.

Check out this question that I answered in the gay category. (No, I'm straight as an arrow.) I was the first one to answer, and they SURE didn't like my answer, as you can see by the number of thumbs down that I received!!

Take care, and have a good day.

Christians are a threat to our society. Homosexuals do not constitute a meaningful group in which to consider them a threat.

i have lots of homosexual friends, and they are just like any other person. Thus they probably post the same threat to society as the old granny across the street... unless that granny happens to be a terrorist suspect.

and if anyone posts 'yes' here, then you really need to get a life.

I don't think they're a threat to society, but I think that if someone calls themselves christian or muslim or whatever religion which says that homosexuality is a sin should reconsider it because when you call yourself christian you should act by it, even if it means resisting your instincts... that's the whole point of religion right.
