If something can't come from nothing where did the original sphere from which the universe was compressed come from? And can you cite me some sources of proof?

Thanks.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine was raped at a party. A pill was slipped into her drink, and she woke up the next morning, incredibly sick, and with no reccolection of the past nights events. A pregnancy resulted from the rape (as well as a hepititis diagnosis), and she decided to terminate it. I drove her to the doctor for the procedure, consoling her as best I could. When we arrived for the procedure, we were greated by a throng of protestors, some of which were handing our prayer cards, and others were dressed as the Grim Reaper, shouting at her that she, and I, were going to hell. Here is my question: Although I see the argument against abortion, I don't understand why one would choose to inflict more pain on someone who is already going through emotional turmoil. Why would people do this?

When loving their fellow man and taking care of the poor is a more pressing need in our world today ? Jesus did tell us to take care of the "least of my brother". Is this still aChristian priority? I really wonder what Jesus thinks sometimes, when he looks down on us.It is often been said by biblical scholars, that the we have been commanded to take care of the poor over 2000 times in the bible. I belong to a church where taking care of the poor and the less fortunate is a true priority. Not trying to point a finger at any one group of people. The question however, is one that begs for an answer. It surely will be one that Christ will be asking all of us Christians later.

"...When we hear about a frog instantly becoming a prince, we call it a fairy tale. But if we are told that a frog became a prince gradually over a period of several million years, we call this science."

"...From a mound of dirt, a single thought will never be produced - no matter how much time is given."

"If no God exists and all we are is molecules in motion, from whence come human rights? If an innocent child is merely a random collection of atoms, can we really say that it is wrong to crush him? If there is no life after death and all we face is everlasting extinction, can this life really have meaning? What counsel can an atheist offer a suffering friend on his deathbed? Can we climb above despair if all we face is extinction? When the universe dies, all will die with it. If atheism is true, then human experience is a cruel joke. And, if life is a cruel joke, then why even bother to debate?"

Couldn’t it be said that God performs thousands of abortions every day by way of miscarriage? It is the killing of human life. Why would he do this?

And for those who say God doesn’t cause them, but allows them to happen, why is he being an innocent bystander? If he has adopted the philosophy “live and let die” maybe we should too?

A friend of mine recently taught at a university where a student dropped out of college because her pastor stated that one, she couldn't be a good wife and mother with a degree and two, that she wasn't being dutiful to God because she was getting an education. Is this pastor really being a help to this young woman or is he going to end up causing more problems in the future should this young woman's husband die while being over in Iraq? What is the Christian perspective on this?

What is the FIRST thing that comes to your mind when a person says "Stay away from them, they are CULTS!" Does it anger you that other's refer to your belief's as cult worshipping? I am wondering how Jesus in heaven feels about this accusations that Christian people throw at each other. Is it right for Christians to call other Christians cults? All Christians derive from Jesus Christ...........right?

From my last question I can see that it is apparent that we all can agree that Jesus did exist. We also can agree that he did teach of many great things, be it from the son of God or of a profit. For the most part I did not see much hatred from those who answered but kindness and praise. Why is it that we fight amongst ourselves then? What ever our religion is it surely does not show hatred towards another Christian or church? Why can we not come together as you all have done for me? This is all I have to say.
