The KKK is still around, but it's not as strong as it once was. It's also not just a thing that happens in the South like many people think.
They're extremely ignorant and believe that anyone who isn't of "The pure white race," ( As if there is REALLY such thing as that ) non-Christian ( Like their Christians with all the horrible hate the spread ) and anyone who is gay is unworthy to live amongst them. I'm not sure at what point in their backwards life they believe someone gave them the "Power" to decide who is and isn't worthy, but in their sick heads they have made these rules up.
I'm convinced they like to keep their faces covered now days because they think it's intimidating. I just laugh at them. They're sorry excuses for humans.

The foremost reason why they have the power to speak their beliefs is that their legal supports are provided by the ACLU. According to the first amendment, they have the rights to hold public rallies, meetings, and etc. I don't think of them as "terrorists". They just go around the world, encouraging to join their clan. There is nothing we can do about it. They have the rights to do so. To tell the truth, White Christian Supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan has endorsed Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States of America. I am sure Obama is not a terrorist. The Klan covers their face because its membership was "anonymous" I put the quotes because members new each other. Any Klansman could be your doctor, banker, sheriff, they were at all levels of society. Some still are well placed though they are not vocal. They most definitely exist. I have a good friend who is a member of the Klavin in this area.

I believe the Klan still exists, but in a diminished capacity to what it once was. The Klan is similar to the skin heads and aryan nation groups in that they were prejudice against non-white, non-Christian people. They are as against the Jews, Mexicans, Muslims, Hindus, and just about anyone else who isn't driving a pickup with a gun rack and a Dixie flag in the back winder.

The premise of the KKK is to ensure racial purity. They feel strongly that whites and blacks should not breed with each other.
Over the course of history, the purity of both races has been do diluted, that there are few pure blacks outside of Africans.
However, the actual tactics of the KKK are towards violence, prejudice and extreme acts of social intolerance.

yes they stiil are around and i never got that either why hide if you stand behind what you belive. not that i relate to what the kkk stand for. i think its just a bunch of loser who use threas and harm to make themselves feel better at night. people like that hate to see the very people they put down make a better life for themselfs
