Obviously non-believers have given you a number of non-edifying answers... =)
1st Kings 19, you can read the account of Elijah and much noise around, but the Lord was not in the "noise".
You must first find your personal hiding place in God, where you hear from Him directly one on one. You pray, worship, open your heart and spirit, and talk to Him. Just like a friend. You open with faith in your heart, and He will not let you down.
Why would you even listen to others who have never heard from God anyways? =)
James 4:8 "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you..."

Only when you choose to turn off the noise around you and learn to listen to his voice will you hear it. Sometimes we don't dislike the noise around us. But, eventually one voice will drown out the other. Your choice of which that will be.

God talks through all sorts of ways, song lyrics, the words of other people . . . but scripture says it's important to be still, to know God.
It's a really good idea to turn off the radio and tv, and be quiet.
And if we try talking TO God less, and talking WITH God more, we may hear God talking more often.

You can't.
God doesn't exist, so there's no voice to hear. Religion is just organized superstition.
