Sure, society is infected and infatuated with sin.
Sin is lucrative, poisonous and exciting, fleeting moments of sensual pleasure. Sin caters to the senses of the body and thereby enslaves the spirit. No sooner you have had the forbidden fruit, if your conscience is right, you regret the bitter after-taste; the rest of your life.
Don't give up eternity for a few moments of pleasure!

Is the sky blue? Does a duck float in water? Pope Catholic?

Yes, some sin is focused on so much like murder, rape, X-rated fantasies, hate crimes because they are something that normal people wouldnt or will never do. Others watch it because secretly deep down, they wouldnt mind doing it. And others outright celebrate it.

No - sin is impossible, since it means disobedience to gods, and there are no gods.

its not infatuation.. its in our veins, norms, culture and tradition.. our ancestors decended them to us.. we modified it according to our time..and hence are better sinners than our fore fathers... sins attracts us more so we adopted them more than the good deeds they passed
