I wanna see a ghost... And not die. Any places where I can see anything and get scared? Anything in Nevada? Doesn't have to be in Nevada, though if you know something PLEASE tell me!!! I need a thrill... this summer is so boring. I don't really believe in ghosts and I wanna prove to my sister that it's a myth... SHE'S SCARED OF THE FREAKIN' GRUDGE!

Your thoughts on when world war 3 will happen? Who do you think will start it? How many people think there wont be another world war? What will it be over? Who will be fighting in it? I know these are random questions but I have just finished reading about ww1 and ww2 and thought it might be interesting to ask if people think there is another ww3 in our near future? ...when he said he came not to put peace but a sword and will cause division between father and son, daughter and mother, etc (family members) ....and that a man's enemy will be from his own household? He also said that whoever has more affection for his father or mother or siblings is NOT WORTHY of him (Jesus) Can any of you explain that?
....and is this happening today? Just as Jesus said that he will cause division between family members?

In a way Paul is the author of modern day Christianity --- more than Jesus.
But the pure Message of Jesus was altered over the next three hundred years, with the final 'blow' being struck at the Council of Nicea in 325 ad.
Constantine, in fear of losing control of his eastern Roman Empire saw religion as a useful mechanism of control over disparate populations rife with sedition and a plenitude of cults and sects of every kind. He convened the Nicea meeting to define a whole new set of precepts to the dogma of the budding 'Christianity'.
The Gnostic gospels had been written largely before the Christic, and were at some considerable odds with the line that Constantine was looking for. The main thrust of the council was against the so-called 'Arius heresy', the issue being the 'divinty' or otherwise..... of 'Jesus' ( Yashua bin Jusef ). Arius was an Alexandrian, where a great deal of the early churches scholars and scriptures had been lodged after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ad.
This is also worthy of note because the greatest repository of ancient and current texts was held in the Great Library of Alexandria, which was burned to the ground by the first Christian Fundamentalists, precisely because it contained so many authoritative texts that ran against the tide of Paulian dogma.
There has been wide debate about this for centuries, but the most likely candidate would be the Emperor Aurelian (270–275), whose attack on, and destruction of Alexandria seemed to have been concurrent with the loss of the library.
It is not at all coincidental that just a few years later Constantine was able to, effectively and literally, re-write the 'book' on 'Christianity'.
It should also be taken into account that the Persian deity, Mithra, was the front runner besides 'Christianity' for the new, official religion of the Roman Empire, and the parallels between Jesus and Mithra are remarkable, and also not coincidental.

I was at the movie theatre and I saw a mistake in a movie i saw recently, (Transformers) so i stood up to tell my fellow moviegoers of this mistake before i forgot about it. But amazingly, everyone started telling me to sit down and be quiet, one person even through a peice of popcorn at me!
Dont these people know proper theatre ediquette, you cant just yell at people if theyre trying to inform you about a films mistakes. I called security but i was just appauled when they just chuckled and left like i was joking.
That is why i am never going back to that theatre again!

If the book of Mormon is true, why hasn’t a valid geography been established for the book?
KEY WORD: VALID
the Bible has MAPS in the book, so people can go visit these places.
the book of Mormon has NO MAPS that are VALID.
keep in mind that if Mayans(Indians) came from Israel, then why are ALL ancient marking and writing on the temples in south America written in ancient Mayan writings? Only the book of Mormon was written in Hebrew. INDIANS ARE NOT LAMANITES and are not proof to validate the book of Mormon.
Nor the land they own in N.Y. to validate the book of Mormon, anyone can buy a peace of land and say something happened here.
Where's all the left behind MONEY, BONES(from these wars the supposivly happened) TEMPLES(excluding the Mayans)?

Who thinks that all these Majorityly black gangs are dangerous.
I am telling you they are not threat compared to the many white radical groups. Here are the reasons that they are more dangerous then any minority gang.
1. They are organized
Not saying these Minority gangs dont have some form of Orginization, but you see them trying to pull things off and they all fail.
2. They have no Ideology
White radical groups have an ideology that is a pro white society. Minority gangs are just in it for instant self gratification. There is no loyalty or honor, they all rat eachother out at the first chance. The white radical groups have the Loyalty and honor to acomplish there goals.
3. These white radical groups aren't fighting eachother
4. They have more charismatic leaders that can inspire self sacrafice for their cause.
I am not racist, my 2 best friends are Black and Philipino. If Obama is elected, these radical groups will attack, and it wont be pretty!

10 billion year life expectancy. As stars get older, they also get brighter. Our sun is supposedly 40% brighter than it was 4.6 billion years ago. If we go back 3.5 billion years to when life supposedly first started, the sun would have been 25% bright than it is now. The sun being less bright, also means less heat was produced. This less heat would have lowered the temperature of the earth from an average 59 degrees to an average below freezing.
Can anyone explain how life would have started with average temperatures below freezing?

Well, I'm searching for some good Girl Scout Gold Award projects and I want as many opinions as I can get on what I should do. I'm open for anything (And please, don't be limited to just helping the homeless or animal shelter...or if you're going to suggest that, then can you broaden it?) I want something that society needs but I also want it to continue after the project is over and I want it to be fun.
