Mark 11:23-25
"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
You have to be free of sin(ask for forgiveness) and you must believe 100% that what you prayed to happen, will happen. You can't pray and then be like "well, let's hope for the best" you have to pray and be like "God WILL make it happen"

Off hand, I'd say, get rid of all my debt, because I have a greedy heart.
And of course I asked Him. He keeps giving me this reply: "Sheesh, SJ, I've got more important things on the go. I'll use your prayer for so and so, though, if you don't mind"
And I roll my eyes and sigh, and say to Him: "I can bear it, but you know all this worry is giving me gray hairs. By the time you get to me, I'll be all worn out."
And He always says: "Hey, I'm God. With me, all things are possible."
Then we laugh.

I would ask that billboards start reading biblical saying according to the neighborhood placed in. This would remind every one.
then I would eliminate street drugs completely, on the entire planet their would be no more street drugs.
then I would eliminate fire arms, completely, not one single person on this planet would have a firearm, they would all simply melt away.

i would ask God to get the Oakland Athletics to turn around their season and get to the playoffs and win the World Series.

that everyone knew the true religion. that way we can stop this senseless violence over that speck of land we call "Jordan". why not cancer, or no more war, or stop global warming you ask? because as humans we were put on this earth to fix that our selves....
