Not any time in the immediate future.
1.World war 3 won't happen until the oil runs out (at the soonest).
2. It will start with an oil crisis.
3.The civilized countries will all be fighting it.
4. Would be funny if it was in some way over religion.

here is the thing - we keep hearing about the world will end here and WW3 will start there and the Antichrist is near and then the world comes to an end again - the world will keep on turning just like it always has and that's all - some will feud and some will be peaceful! that is what we do best and maybe some of you can reflect on the pasts natural disasters, wars, hate crimes global weather changes - everything comes and goes! there will be no change ! there will be no global war!
I do not agree with the term world war because theoretically it wasn't the world at war!

The bible speaks of a World War , it will begin over gold and silver in the Palestinian region against Israel. Recently this didn't make much sense since there wasn't any that one could think of until recently. Now they believe that from the drought of the Dead Sea many believe this area was once the home of Sodem and Gomorrah and there are billions of dollars worth of silver and gold underneath the Dead Sea, interesting. Will this start the World War? We don't know for sure we still have a few more prophecies to be for filled before that, like the building of the new temple in Jerusalem, and a man that will come to power (Antichrist) that will reign for 7 years.

Yes. Unfortunately I think we are at the beginning of WW3. People, governments and countries are making ALL the same mistakes as they have always done. Governments are lying and sneaking around and no-one seems to care. Human beings are being treated as if they are nothing and nobody wants to do anything about it. Lies are being told by many people and believed by many more. The TRUTH is the first causality of war - and the truth died years ago. May God have mercy on us all.

Naw, I don't think so.
I remember when I thought the Persian Gulf War in 1990 was going to be WWIII and then I thought 9/11 was the beginning of the end. Neither turned out to be "the big one." We may all learn to stop hating and start caring before the 3rd World War ever really comes. I really think we could pull it off if we globally put our minds to it after we stabilize global warming.
Cross your fingers.

I think were headed for the Crusades III.
The war on terrorism is being fought all over the world, yet it's almost exclusively sponsored by extremist Muslims. From the Muslim's side, we hear a lot of talk about Jihad. The rest of the world is trying to limit the scope to terrorism.
But I can see things getting out of control and can see the war on terror turning into the war against Jihad.

Anything is possible----all it takes is a single strike. If the Twin Tower incident was carried out by a country and not by a group, this would have been a WW3. One deliberate attack from another government and that's it. Iran is unpredictable. And so is the other countries who appears quiet but with hidden schemes. But then, I hope not.

No because in order to have a World War you need the opposing nations locked into mutual defense agreements; An attack against one is an attack against all.
That situation doesn't exist with the potential candidates for the next World War.

If people won't get rid of religion, and the hate it promotes,we might just be headed towards ww3.
Religion is madness , in any NORMAL society religion would not exist.

No. The world can no longer afford a world war. All the major countries are part of the global economy.
