or do you think Jesus was a liar?
"And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name they shall cast out demons, they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents ***and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them***; they shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:17-18
Exactly how "strong" is your faith?

Oh no...I think the whole things a bunch of nonsense. Even the christians think parts of their bible are nonsense - like this one.

It's the old "out of context" excuse.
It works for any occasion.

"...them that believe:..." is referring to only the apostles. Only the apostles could do these things through the power of the holy spirit. These signs and miracles were only for that time. When the apostles died, so did these gifts. Only a few hundred years ago did this 'signs' somehow start reappearing in the churches. So what happened? Did God remain silent for a time? No! He/She has always been here so something in these 'speakin in tongue' churches isn't right. Tongues were an actual language spoken to the gentiles so everyone could hear the message of God in their native tongues. The tongues spoken today are just a bunch of gibberish. If they ARE real, then people are NOT following the guidlines for using them (speaking with an interpreter, one at a time, etc....). It's all just a show.

The so called verses you quote are not found in the earliest manuscripts of the bible. This is a spurious addition. Christians do not put God to the test.
Didn't you ask this one a few weeks back?

I wouldn't drink it, and that is impossible...because if anyone was like "I am so faithful in Jesus nothing can hurt me!" that would be pride...they would still be hurt.
But, I guess, it all depends on how big the cup is...like 8 ounces or a dixie cup, or a double gulp?

My brother in law did, when he was a kid. Drank an entire cup of bleach. He thought it was water and he was Thirsty!
My mother-in-law called the poison help line and they told her to feed him lots of butter. Go figure.
He never was quite right in the head, that guy.
Your question reminded me of that story for some odd reason.

Um..You forgot the part where you dont tempt God.
DUH. God wants us to use common sense. If someone gave me poisen It would not harm me. I will not test my God.
That question is really Dumb. I hate to say that, because I try hard to respect everyone. But using the bible to call Jesus a liar is Just enough to push me overboard.
My faith is strong. And so I've seen. I've seen healed, My own friend with cancer was healed, my brother who was so close to death was completely healed. I dont need proof that God is powerful. I already know it.

Is it flavored with a powered drink mix? 'cause I'll have as much faith as you want if it taste like fake rasberry tea. Otherwise, keep your bleach- your whites might need it.

My faith is strong. So is my ability to recognize excerpts taken out of context from the bible. I can look up the reference myself but I know my bible does not contain ****.
