We have read, heard, seen movies like Ben Hur, even in other religions, like Budha in Hinduism, Lord Rama, Mother Teresa, Prophet Mohammed, they all suffered and left earth, Why does this happen.

The Bible claims that it blasphemous to say the name of god..

The Hebrew name for god,
יַהְוֶה
could be pronounced "Yahu", (or Yahoo).
Does that mean that the Yahoo websites are possibly innately blasphemous?

I am agnostic. My 14 year old son told me yesterday that he didn't think there is a God. I said, 'OK, a lot of people agree with you.'

He knows I think there is a God. In my mind, he will find out what makes sense to him in his own time. I want him to at least learn about Buddhism before he makes any final decision.

Adam was the first Son of God (according to Luke.)

Before God shortened human lifespan to 120 years, an undisclosed number of Sons of God mated with Daughters of Man to populate the earth (Genesis.)

Sons of God is in the Christian text, so can we get some consistency, please?

This guy I work with is a very active Christian, he knows I have a Deist belief system. Today he said to me regarding my religious beliefs:

"You are not wrong, we just have different beliefs. I like talking to you because you see things differently and that helps me learn."

Note: Academicly this guy is my superior.

Man compared to animals wouldn't man be more than one having also an eternal spirit. Isn't this what God conveyed through Moses when he said Let US create man In OUR image?
Man was created from the dust (flesh) then God breathed in life(spirit) and man became a living soul...Isn't God demonstrating in man his image which is Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

ok so i had earlier asked a question about an christian boy who didnt want to date me bc im an atheist and i was all sad or watever...

but the more i think about it the more i think maybe i wouldnt want to date a christian either. i see u all post here about all these problems with christians and the way they think so would u really want to date one of them anyways?

im not trying to be mean it just seems to me that christians and atheists would not be compatible bc they think we're going to hell and we think their just plain wrong.

I don't understand why people feel the need to make people believe the same as them. Do they do it because if everyone thinks the same as them then that makes them right? Can people understand that the way one's conection with G-d is their own? What do you think?
