i did and it was scary. what is even scarier are the reasons those people felt justified to train children in that way.
if you thought that that was scary - consider that in many parts of the world, children are being indoctrinated in the same way and we don't seem to care...until they come here and blow up stuff...

As a Christian, I saw a clip on Jesus Camp a few months back. I believe it was in North Dakota (around that area at least). These kids were down-right brainwashed. The thing I found most disturbing was when they all began bowing down to a cardboard cut-out of George W. Bush.
Places like this contributes to giving Christians a bad name.

I found it sad. I was scared for the children and the shock they are going to one day have when and if they allow themselves to think rather than be programmed.
Nevertheless. As a recent movie said, all people are free from their first breath. I have not been harmed by the Jesus Campers, nor do I wish to harm them. I don't imagine I take them seriously enough to be frightened by them. They are being severely deceived, and even if these people succeed in legislating their morality, I will continue to live my life in the way I know is right, and will not bend to their pressures.
Yes, did you get that? It is totally possible to live life in a right way without the bible. I can and I do. I am not an atheist, but I tend to have more respect for them than I do for mindless Christian sheep who must be led by the loudest voice in the room.

I thought it was a very telling depiction of what scares reasonable people away from the Christian faith. The Jesus Camp people are exactly the theocratic, fanatical, brainwashed folk that people like me despise. Those who consider ignorance, xenophobia, and fear to be virtues, and for whom unquestioned authority is a good thing. These are the people who try to push "intelligent design" and Creationism into science classes, who want Christians (of their own denomination only) to be favored by state and national law, who want to have state and national support for their religious monuments and none for anyone elses.
It is a very ugly face of the Christian faith, and it was high time someone exposed it to the open public arena.

Yeah its pretty scary. I think it's wrong too. No one should use children to further thier agenda no matter how "noble" that agenda is. It's sick and twisted.

Me. My son.
He came in and started watching it. Then sat down. then asked some questions. 'what is wrong with these people?' 'why are you watching this?' 'you don't think you are going to send me there, do you?'
