Is that the stupidest thing you've ever heard? What do you expect them to do then, live out their life in celibacy just because you don't happen to like their lifestyle? Would you do that if it were the other way around and heterosexuality were a sin? Get over yourself, they don't owe you anything. They're not hurting you but you are hurting them by being so ignorant. Why do you think they deserve that?

My friend told me she likes girls in now i feel so uncomfotable on the phone with her in stuff. I kinda dont really want to be here friend with her any more but we have been friends for a long time in we cant just stop being friends even though we are kinda starting to talk less when i used ot see her everyday in call her eveyday. If Heaven is perfect, why would spirits there (i.e. family members) be allowed by God to look down on Earth, when Earth is not perfect? Thoughts?

This version, published by the Watchtower was translated by 5 men...Nathan Knorr, Albert Schroeder, George Gangas, Fred Franz, M. Henschel. 4 of the 5 had NO training in ancient Greek or Hebrew Scriptures and never got passed a high school diploma...dont believe me? research it. Fred Franz was the only one and he only took 2 years of Greek in college? Can you be well prepared to translate something as important as the Word of God in 2 years? What about in Hebrew, Franz was self taught in Hebrew... How reliable can this translation be? Also, i forgot to mention Johannes Greber, he was a man whose "translation" of the of the bible was used as a basis by the WTS for their "NWT." They knowingly used the translation of a Spiritist Occultist to base their translation on.

I am a white woman, and have only ever had one white boyfriend when I was 17, and then I went black (and of course, never went back)

I could NEVER fancy a white man again, but I don't understand why....I especially like Jamaicans. I think it's because most black men know how to be a real man....that's what I like, but it still confuses me.

Many people believe that being gay is a sin. Many people believe that being gay is a choice. I disagree. I did not choose to be gay and when I was younger I prayed and prayed and done all in my power to try and become straight but it didn't happen. I'm still gay and I chose to be straight and it didn't happen so, therefore, my conclusion is that it isn't a choice. It's how God meant for you to be so why would that be a sin? Gay people deserve their rights. It isn't like we are going around telling straight people that they better turn gay or they will go to Hell. If I asked a straight person right now to change their ways and love a person of the same sex they would be like "I can't because I love the opposite sex. It's just what attracts me." Well that is how the same sex is to gay people they are only attracted to the same sex they can't help it. It is just how they are. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks.

well thats what mey parents told me im not sure though the said that my sister's name means Queen cause there are alot of sarah queens and there were alot of princesses named rachel it seems to make since but when i looked up the name it meant ewe? GROSS! Can it mean Princess?

I come across these questions about are Filipinos considered Asian, Pacific ISlander, or Hispanic? My theory is that most Older Filipinos, F.O.B's. or Filipinos from the PHilippines consider themselves asian cus they are amongst the Chinese, Korean, etc in the Philppines or if they live here in the Los Angeles now they just gravitate toward them. However us Fil-Ams gravitate toward Pacific Islanders or Hispanics because we do not feel a connection with Chinese, Korean, etc. We dont feel we look like them, talk like them, act like them, nothing. Filipinos live in places in Los Angeles where they share it with Pacific Islanders like Gardena, Carson, LB, also Filipinos live in places where they share it with Mexicans, Highland Park, La Mirada, Norwalk, Eagle Rock. So, I will keep it real and say MOST, I said MOST, Filipinos in Los Angeles would get insulted if you look at us like Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc cus we arent. Why cant we just be who we are FILIPINO, not PI or asian!

It's because of the Chavs who HAVE to use it.....
they don't care that their behaviour, language and ill manners offends most normal people and therefore the normal people won't use buses and trams because they don't want to feel intimidated.
Do you think that if the public transport companies tackled this problem then more normal people would be willing to use their services?

I am a Catholic, and this is meant to preach about certain unBiblical Protestant beliefs.

1) Mary had children other than Christ.
Nowhere in the Bible is anyone (besides Jesus) called a "son/child of Mary". Jesus is always referred to as "THE Son of Mary" rather than "A Son". In Luke 1:31,34 the angel tells Mary that she will conceive and she says, "How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?" Nothing stops a virgin from conceiving, unless they want to keep their virginity. Mary must have wanted to keep her virginity.
2) Eternal salvation.
Many Protestants believe that our salvation can never be lost once we have accepted Christ. But 2 Peter 2:20-21 and Hebrews 10:26-27 both say that we will go to Hell if we willingly sin after being saved.
3) Sola-Scriptura.
Protestants believe that we must go by the Bible-alone. But the only people in the Bible who went by sola-Scriptura were the pharisees of John 5:39-40, of whom Jesus said, "you refuse to come to me".
Protestants do not have the Truth.

I am leaving for a weekend with a girl who I am going to have my first bi experience with. She is into the whole BDSM thing and am told I will be expected to learn to be her slave. We're attending a costume party tonight and tomorrow one of her cousin's wedding. She has told me for the wedding she has picked a thin pink doggie collar for me to wear. I am told this a strict condition that I must comply to. I've seen the collar and it has a nametag on it reading Candy. I am told I will be introduced by that name. Or taking classes so they can get married in the catholic church? I think it's pretty bold to say, do this or don't marry me, but I have heard this on SEVERAL occasions from different couples. So you are telling me to believe in what you believe in, or fake it so we can get married and if I don't it's a deal breaker? Seriously, someone who has some knowledge answer this? Any priests out there surfing the web? Isn't it better to be steadfast in your belief, whatever that may be then to waiver for the sake of pretending to believe? Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, or whatever you are, God knows your heart, so why force people to lie to themselves just to sign a piece of paper.

Christianity is not a religion. It is about having a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. Religions are about man TRYING to reach up to God while Christianity is about God reaching down to man. All religions were invented by man and are a FUTILE effort to reach God. Christianity originated with God and is God reaching down to man. Because of this, Christianity is perfect since it was born from a PERFECT and HOLY God. CHRISTIANITY is hated because it is the TRUTH and it shines its light on the iniquity of all others.

Science vs. God


God is sitting in Heaven when a scientist says to Him, "Lord, we don't need you anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing. In other words, we can now do what you did in the 'beginning'."

"Oh, is that so? Tell me..." replies God.

"Well", says the scientist, "we can take dirt and form it into the likeness of you and breathe life into it, thus creating man."

"Well, that's interesting. Show Me. "

So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to mold the soil.
