How would it make any difference in your life if you had two neighbors who were gay if they were married instead of unmarried

It would matter only if they were not good neighbors/good people. Other than that, it is not my business.

It doesn't affect my life so that would be irrelevant. What consenting adults do with each other in the privacy of their own homes is their own business. I certainly wouldn't want society dictating that I have to mate with my wife only in the "missionary position"! Too many people like to play "Big Brother", but change their tune when the shoe is on the other foot. And marriage is a public confession of a strictly private intention.

Anglican leaders from around the world reiterated their opposition to the "victimisation or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, saying demonising and persecuting them was "totally against Christian charity and basic principles of pastoral care". "We say that no one should have to live in fear because of the bigotry of others." The mormons poured millions into forcing through prop 8 in CA: to ban gay marriage. In August 2010 the court held that to be unconstitutional. On 15 June 2011 the San Francisco court upheld that decision because it violates the constitutional rights of citizens. It is now awaiting the Supreme Court verdict which is expected to uphold the early court decision. If that happens then gay marriage will become legal everywhere and that will be marriage and not civil partnership! The loving god works in mysterious ways.

Doesn't matter to me at all. If they weren't married because they aren't given the same rights as the rest of though I would feel badly for them. I may not understand how or why some people are attracted to the same sex but I don't want them to be discriminated against nor not given the same rights (and responsibilities) as the rest of us.

Hypothetically, I could care less. I have enough on my hands taking care of my own business and what others do with their bodies and or life is not for me to say what they "should" and "should not" do. I have my own beliefs of course but they are mine and I will not try to force them on someone else. That is the great thing about this country. . . . .we don't all have to agree.

Absolutely no difference at all. Gay or not gay, they'd be my married neighbors.

Good news everyone!

Congress just passed a new law re-instituting the ancient practice of heterosexual marriages. This overturns legislation from the late 25th century banning the practice.

I cannot imagine any reason for it to matter. It also does not matter to me whether the neighbors who are straight are married. Why is it any business of mine?

If gay people want to get married, I see no reason why they shouldn't. Everyone deserves happiness in their lives.

Last year my gay neighbors married, and I divorced my wife straight away. If a couple of gays can do it, then there is no reason for me to partake of it.

Love is not limited to gender. Love is something you feel because you have a deep emotional connection with them, because you enjoy being with them, spending time with them, doing things with them. Love is something you feel for your lovers, for your friends, for your family - and it has no limits. It doesn't matter who you love, just that you love.

I have no problem with homosexuals, mostly because I'm bisexual, but also because I feel that if you love someone, why does it matter to anyone else that you love them? Why should anyone else be upset about my love and affection towards one person?

I'm not interrupting their dinner with my girlfriend, I'm not harassing their baby. I'm not doing anything wrong!
