Why do ppl say that hispanics dont work for their money when they are by the freeway? Most ive seen are selling flowers. yet so many americans are out by the freeways with signs saying that they are war veterans of war or that they need money for medicine and stuff like that and ppl are suppossed to feel bad for them. atleast the hispanics arent just asking for the money, they are working for it even though its not an actual job.

Typical white suburb- I was at a park today playing tennis and there was a group of black people playing basketball. I could sense a lot of tension between them and us. Like, they would look at the ppl playing tennis as if we were stupid and white. I could tell the people playing tennis kind of looked down at them, probably racist but also because they were making a lot of noise and smoking( I dont know if it was weed or cigars). Anyways, before they left, they threw their soda cups on the floor and kicked them all over, littering the park. After they left, It made me realize why this society is so separated (blacks and whites). Is this racial separation wrong though?

Let the world know that the rose next garden also is like the same jasmine in our garden. Many do not know what all the good advises given in other religion. Will it reach the attention of people who can do this?

Whatever one's religion may be, one should cultivate respect for other faiths. One who does not have such an attitude of tolerance and respect for other religions is not a true follower of his own religion. It is not enough merely to adhere strictly to the practices of one's own religion, one should also try to see the essential unity of all religions. Only then will man be able to experience the oneness of Divinity. Once the Truth of the Indwelling Spirit is recognised, there dawns the awareness that the whole world is one family. One is then filled with Divine Love which becomes the driving force for all of one's actions.

-tous amount of information is held in the bible.

First of all I want to say this. I am young in knowledge of the bible and what i'm about to type here may not be true or it might. YOU have to research for you'reself on what is really true or not.

Hello, my name is Peter. I'm Pentecostal.

I did some research and even read probably all of the scriptures in the King James Bible pertaining to "Fornication". I was trying to find out if "Fornication" really means sex before marriage. I know the dictionary says fornication means sex before marriage, but you know who wrote the dictionary right? Man did and man can be wrong at times, so I wanted to see what knowledge the bible and online research would get me.

My Opinion:

Bible research "Fornication": sexually immoral acts, such as adultery(sex with a married person) homosexual acts, sex with an animal, incest(sex with family members)

In the bible I DID NOT see anything about "Fornication" to be sex before marriage. That is also why I doubt the "Man made" defintion in our dictionarys.

There is also another reason why I doubt "Fornication" means sex before marriage: Again this information may not be true but it was found online: .....
.. The word Fornication has a "root"( I think the meaning where it came from) to it and it is "Fornix(Meaning arch, like an arch built in an upper entry way)?" and I think it was a roman word. Fornix is an arch were prostitutes where under to sell themselves.

My opinion though it may be wrong is that fornication also in the bible is prositution and all the other things I listed earlier and not sex before marriage.

Do you're own research, ............... and I do know to not always believe articles online because they may be wrong.

"Example: It was a felony crime for a black to marry a white in 28 states, and that was all the way up to the year 1968 when new civil rights bills took it down. Now you cant do citizen's arrests on such unions as in the past. However, it did remain illegal in Alabama for a black to marry a white all the way up until the year 2000. " - Imperial Klans of America

Ahh in the "land of the free"

It's funny how the bible belt, the most fundamentalist part of the country had a tendency of promoting such good Christian behavior like racism and lynchings.

I wonder if it's homosexuals they REALLY care about or is it a cover for anti-"misecegenation"

I never understood why fundies care so much about who strangers marry.

was formed.

That's why women don't have to dress decently or wear head-scarves in church anymore...I tried pointing out that this practice only began in 1960 (not wearing head scarves in church), but she just kept going on about the veil in the temple being torn and a new covenant begin made. I wasn't entirely convinced. So, if the New Covenant was made 2000 years ago, yet women wore head scarves up until 1960,...what were all the other women (in history) doing wearing head scarves up to that point?

"God exists" = an assumption until it can be empirically verified
"God that exists is the Christian God"= an assumption based on another assumption. Remains an assumption until it can be empiracally verified

Fact= Human beings exist, airplanes exist, cockroaches exist etc.

Pretty tough huh?

We are both very flexible and open minded with our beliefs but want to find a denomination we can share together. It's not the label we are concerned about it's having a place to worship.
